I don't know if any of you have ever seen this show. But it is basically a go back in time to change an that had a negative effect on our nation.

Here is kinda how it works. Nuclear is accidentily started. Agent Frank Parker, NSA, hops in this little sphere thing that is powered by some alien technology recovered from Roswell. It allows him to go back in time 7 days and try to change the outcome. Here is where the problems begin for me.

1) If he goes back in time he could meet himself since he was alive 7 days ago.

2) The story makes no justification of what happens with these duplicates. I mean you never see him disappear at the end of an episode. If he stops the event then he never would have gone back in time and therefore he should go POOF.

3) Now assuming he did go back and did *poof* after completing his assignment then there would be no proof that he actually accomplished anything, ever.

4) So he has never accomplished anything ever then how can the government spend money on a project that never produces any results on paper. And beyond that everytime he actually goes back in time it would be like the first time all over again. He would NEVER gain any knowledge to help him get better at it.

Those are just a few things I was pondering today about the show. Now if in some way there is still an alternate future timeline that is continuing and he can't return (the only explanation for not going poof) there would be a bunch of these frank parker guys on the government payroll. and since they all have the same social they can only get one check. So this guy has to be broke.

Never watched that show , but I have known of it for some time. That's a funny observation on it to be sure, but time travel and show biz are not to be figured out.

their was actually another show excatly like this that had the SAME Exact concept and everything, it may have been a movie. not sure...

But every time the person would go back he would contact the base where he was out of let him know he had come back and what was about to happen then they would stop it. I will look into it I can't remember what it was.. (it is kinda old I remember it from years ago)

wow, that sounds exactly like this. this show was canceled in 2001. I just see is on spike occasionally.
