I tried to take a screenshot in swg today and got an error, cannot take screenshot due to a direct x failure...

huh??? wtf???

so I did a dxdiag, and everything was fine, version 9.0b, that's current, so I go to the direct x website

and LO and BEHOLD, yesterday they came out with 9.0C

gonna dload and try it out

As much as I hate MS I have this turned on and I just checked DX and I am at 9.0c

Downloaded 9.0c (twice).

Now I'm just crashing to desktop instead of reboot.

New Item: I get a "client crash detection" notice after I hit "PLAY" in SWG Launch window. It prompts me to do a Full Scan of the games files, which I have twice so far.

So far since 6:30PM EST I have loaded SWG twice. Once I got ingame but crashed after 2 mins. The second time I didn't make it past the world loading screen.

Don't think that I dont' appreciate the help fellas. Dinner and a Guiness are calling (Brilliant!). I'll re-start the acrobatics after.

Sounds like memory issues bro...best check those memory sticks.
