So, I've heard from friends who play other games--WoW, Counterstrike, stuff like that--that people are just randomly bringing up our little overhaul here in SWG while they play and discussing the changes. These are people who don't play SWG. This is getting a lot of press and a lot of attention from outside of our game--obviously, while so many of us are worried about "our game" being ruined, could this really be working to attract players back in?

'Tis true. I've chatted with some former SWG players in WoW, and they are interested in seeing what comes of the NGE.

Also, my friends list (which I never clean up) has a lot of old names popping on as of late.


So, the attention is a good thing. Let's just hope SOE delivers.
