Attached is the story behind the event.
During a time of constant struggle, the Warmaster Tsavong Lah was a renowned force in the Galaxy. In the name of the gods, he led the armies of Yuuzhan Vong into battle on many occasions, far from the prying eyes of the empire. Throughout his time in service, his body was so damaged so many times, that any other warrior would have fallen to his demise. However, using Outer Rim renegade technology, he has affixed other living body parts to his own cobbled twisted body. His battle hardened body is decorated in tattoos, and now stands taller than most Yuuzhan Vong. This attribute is due to his rusted solid armor, which has slowly and painfully stretch his visage to a much larger frame.
It is not often that such a renowned general of the outer quadrants, is seen anywhere within the scope of Empire patrolled space. But on this occasion, he had a reason. This mission, was far too important to trust to either of his underling captains, Vergers or Nom Anor.
Rumors had reached the ears of his master, The Overlord, Shimrra. A long forgetten relic from the Great Sith Wars. A single sith holocron, that had absorbed the life essence of the fallen warriors in battle. Many had searched, but no one has ever found it.
This time is different.
During a random probe mission, a Twilek Bounty Hunter, by the name of Lilith had discovered a strange power surge ... not on Dantoine, but on one of its duel moons. Knowing the value of this discovery, and unable to retrieve the holocron herself, she contacted the rogue General, and informed him of the discovery.
Could it be, could it be this easy? And why not? After all, the power of the darkside stretches much wider than any can fathom. Why would it be unbelievable that the essence of the slain could have traveled from Dantoine, and been absorbed onto a Holocron on a separate planet all together.
The holocron could not be extracted by natural means, the dark powers and deep essence of the dark side it held within, where capable of slicing through the mind of any normal beings, with the same precision of a turbo laser through the eye.
Tsavongs ship had been equipped with multiple special hauling devices, which he had specially designed for the cause by the well known Ciznar vendors on Dantoine itself.
Something, that Lah did not expect then happened. While the hauling devices were perfect, no one could ever have speculated that precise mass of the holocron. Although no larger than a basic comlink, the pure weight of the cursed relic, was far beyong the ships capability.
In a moment of desperation, Tsavong demanded that all cargo on the ship be jettisoned. The cargo bays open, and out spilled the backup engine, the rations, many confiscated trophies from his fallen enemies, and a fortune of battle ready weapons.
Still to no avail, Tsavong had no choice but to return to his master empty handed, before he risked attracting Empire attention. The only assurance he gave himself, was that if he could not retrieve this artifact, that no one else could either.
On a side note, the items which were released into space, were sucked into the atmosphere of Dantoine, and crashed on the surface.
On February 10, 2006, at 9:30 pm, Liberty will be sending out reconnaissance teams to retrieve these items.
