Is it me or did the Vipers vs. Vipers standoff look like the JtL static spawns in a knot circling each other's tails?

The shot where all of the dogfighting vipers all turned to face off against the incoming threat sent chills up my spine. I don't know if anyone else here cares about this kind of thing, but that was easily some of the most delicious ship animation I've ever seen.Keer wrote:Is it me or did the Vipers vs. Vipers standoff look like the JtL static spawns in a knot circling each other's tails?
Ya don't have to be a video game animator to notice that scene had mad animation skills. Quality!X'an Shin wrote:The shot where all of the dogfighting vipers all turned to face off against the incoming threat sent chills up my spine. One second, it's chaos, and less than 2 seconds later, they're all in "formation" gunning for the bogey. Not a single one looked like it was on rails, newtonian physics abound, and they all had different "timing" yet finished in a reasonably tight manner.
Thank god for Tivo. I watched that shot like 4 times in a row.
I didn't get all technical about it but oh yes, I felt it. Couldn't see it until Monday but we were both glued to the TV. OK, so was the baby. I felt this chill because of how united they were in that instant--their training and purpose absolute to protect against their real enemy.X'an Shin wrote:The shot where all of the dogfighting vipers all turned to face off against the incoming threat sent chills up my spine. My heart was pounding so hard from the suspense I thought it was going to jump out of my chest (Adama vs. Kane showdown).Dwilah wrote:Okay, I need a tissue. I was like, sniffling all through this damn episode. (Fri 13th)
They showed their hand in this in the previews for the past 2 weeks. You could clearly see that Six was the one holding the gun in the cuts they showed. I expected her to get justice, I just expected her to be gunned down (as she wanted to die)."justice" a la cylon
Knew it was coming, but that was more of an old term of endearment (i.e. good platonic friends) than it was hubba hubba smoochin'.admiral 'o' love
They still have an unknown Cylon amongst them. The Fleet News Service reporter, D'anna Biers (Lucy Lawless) is a Cylon or at least a human sympathizer. And as far as we've seen she's still amongst the fleet and undetected. Can't overlook what they don't know is there. *Dun-dun-DUNNN!*warsloth wrote: one thing their intel has overlooked, is that they have pictures of all twelve cylon models now.
