Looks like Madame President put on her Don Corleone hat with the assassination radar.
Is it me or did the Vipers vs. Vipers standoff look like the JtL static spawns in a knot circling each other's tails?

The shot where all of the dogfighting vipers all turned to face off against the incoming threat sent chills up my spine. I don't know if anyone else here cares about this kind of thing, but that was easily some of the most delicious ship animation I've ever seen.
One second, it's chaos, and less than 2 seconds later, they're all in "formation" gunning for the bogey. Not a single one looked like it was on rails, newtonian physics abound, and they all had different "timing" yet finished in a reasonably tight manner.
Thank god for Tivo. I watched that shot like 4 times in a row.

Ya don't have to be a video game animator to notice that scene had mad animation skills. Quality!

I didn't get all technical about it but oh yes, I felt it. Couldn't see it until Monday but we were both glued to the TV. OK, so was the baby. I felt this chill because of how united they were in that instant--their training and purpose absolute to protect against their real enemy.
OK, two other HUGE chill moments for me...when the crass doctor talked over Adama to tell Boomer how he felt what happened to her was unforgiveable with such almost uncharacteristic compassion (he's really changing as a person and he's a minor character!) -- and for a Cylon. And when Roslyn and Adama are sharing that time together and just the emotion in the eyes between them...goosebumps.
What an awesome show.

My heart was pounding so hard from the suspense I thought it was going to jump out of my chest (Adama vs. Kane showdown).
And the newtonian drift on the vipers when they raked the Resurrection Ship. /chills down spine. Good god this show delivers.

Gawd this show just keeps getting better, and was it just me or was that sort of a anime moment with Apollo floating in space, drifting into a dream and a battle going on around him? Very cool
Cant wait till next week!

<-- hates anime
I seriously didn't expect what happened to happen. I was kinda expecting the big shin dig to go wrong or something, but I certainly didnt expect:
floatin' lee
Coup stand downs.
"justice" a la cylon
admiral 'o' love
I really about crapped my pants over it all. I love the way space flight is represented in this show, and personally feel it's the most realistic stuff out there.
I wish they would at least make Hummers look a little different, and not use skorps, UMP's, and such when they have such awesome sidearms already. That's the only real unemersive part for me.

"justice" a la cylon
They showed their hand in this in the previews for the past 2 weeks. You could clearly see that Six was the one holding the gun in the cuts they showed. I expected her to get justice, I just expected her to be gunned down (as she wanted to die).
admiral 'o' love
Knew it was coming, but that was more of an old term of endearment (i.e. good platonic friends) than it was hubba hubba smoochin'.

I didn't study the previews that much, I barely get a chance to catch the episodes.
I kinda felt the same about the kiss. One thing that kept ringing in my mind was "He knows she is dieing." That really puts the punch on it.
one thing their intel has overlooked, is that they have pictures of all twelve cylon models now.

The near death experience dream of Apollo reminded me of the last 30 minutes of
2001: A Space Odyssey. It has its place now in my Sci-Fi scene Hall of Fame.
I'm not too happy with how Adama is comfy sitting alone with a known Cylon that's unrestrained. If he's willing to do that then why even put her in restraints at all? That Sharon may have rebounded the computer virus from last semi-season, but still she's a security risk.
Beautiful strafing run scene on the Rez Ship! Gorgeous.
Did anyone else hear the fighter chatter? "...I can't shake him!"

They still have an unknown Cylon amongst them. The Fleet News Service reporter, D'anna Biers (Lucy Lawless) is a Cylon or at least a human sympathizer. And as far as we've seen she's still amongst the fleet and undetected. Can't overlook what they don't know is there. *Dun-dun-DUNNN!*

It would seem from the closeups that they only photographed "Six", but I agree with the whole resurrection ship there, you'd expect more shots. Or at least maybe some floating bodies out in space to see if more models could be figured out. Of course Starbuck would also disclose the description of the friendly Farm doctor too.
One thing better become clear to any examining character: Roslyn, Adama especially -- the imprisoned Cylon, under Baltar's care, did not break free, kill the Admiral, and escape undetected without help. Suspicion towards Baltar has to happen or it is a big oversight.
So, does anybody else here starting to question if the "Six" in Baltar's head is supposed to really only be from his own mind and not something done to him back in the premiere? After all, there really is nothing the scanners can detect in him. And if "Six" really did go to those pyramid games then why wouldn't that be a shared part of memory for the newly freed "Six" to recognize when Baltar restated the entire thing?
Either "Six" did not transfer back for resurrection (somehow did go into Baltar's mind) or Baltar has been making the entire thing up from an overwhelming sense of guilt and selfish need to be so desired and loved by the woman frakking with his head. I can't decide.

I think the six in his head is like a seperate version, and since there are mulitple versions of her running around they may have a seperate consciousness, and similar bodies.
The thing with the version in his head: she's like a split off version from a seperate timeline. I am assuming that she is not in contact with the other cylons. She may have joined his mind durring that glowing spine scene in the premier.
