Lot5R was probably the best CCG out there. I was on the newsletter list for 2 years, and even got mentioned in a newsletter.

I was Scorpion Clan before Scorpion Clan existed (Crab Deck/Scorp rush).

I got out of it after they had the "Demon Clan" (can't remember the name) and the Ronin Clan with the old Lion Clan champ. Then WotC got it and it was all over.

BEHOLD! MY BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON!! YOUR DARK MAGICIAN IS USELESS NOW. ONCE I PLAY MY CARD IN ATTACK MODE YOU'RE FINISHED!!

Its just a couple pieces of printed cardboard. Calm down sparky.
We love/hate Yugioh in this house.

The funny thing is that it's DragonBall Z with cards, which makes it WORSE than DragonBall Z, because at least in DragonBall Z people would fight every once in awhile, and all the talking before the fight was believable because hey, they were going to eventually fight sometime this month.

But holy shit. ALL THAT TALKING DRAGS OUT A 20 MINUTE CARD GAME INTO ONE THAT TAKES 8 FUCKING WEEKS.

You mean to say "any unopened Revised boosters which have already been ascertained to have ASS for rare cards."

I was Yoritomo all the way but my best deck was my monk deck. It was designed to play the 5 rings with ease. Very tough. I was also partial to the Phoenix and Crab clan from time to time.

One of my favorite decks was my Scorpion Dishonor deck. It was designed purely to kill off your army by dishonoring your characters then having them commit suicide. There wasn't a Crane Deck that could beat it if it went to 4 turns.
