When I was 3 years old, I remember going to see Return of the Jedi at a second run theater out here. My sister, who is 7 years older than I am, says that was the last movie they ever played. I don't remember the movie, but I remember the sign.

My dad recorded Star Wars off of TV (and he actually did it on VHS and Beta, just in case) and manually cut out the commercials. I don't know what happened, but he completely cut out Mos Eisley. It skips from Skywalker wanting to be a jedi to the Death Star approaching Alderaan. The first time I ever saw Mos Eisley was on the rerelease in 97. I thought it was all part of the rerelease.

I watched Return of the Jedi in Richmond, VA when I was little. Jabba the Hutt scared the pants off of me so bad that I hid in the chair til he wasn't on screen. I thought the Rancor was funny though. During the rerelease I must have watched the movies 3 times a piece if not more.

Hmm, I'm kinda lax on actual items I have I think. My mother bought me some of the SW's versions of board games (Monoploy, Stratego, and Trivial Persuit). Other than that I have books including the giant Industrial Light and Magic book that tells about the companies roles in Hollywood through out the years.
