Bah.. would have been nice if they explained that. The default setting was "convert". That is the one I watched. I would have rather seen the directors cut. Oh well, the regular movie was pretty cool. Both sci-fi and fantasy. The bounty hunters reminded me of some of the folks here.Rye wrote:i have a boot leg of riddick the whole convert or fight is to choose between the directors cut "fight" and the one released to the public "convert" ok dokie

SUUUUURE, Ekade makes a comment about liking Chronicles of Riddick and she doesn't get made fun of... but the instant I say I like anything, EVERYONE chimes in like it's their damn job to make my life miserable....

I didn't hate Chronicles of Riddick but I didn't love it either. I fell right in-between.
Though I think there was something about the movie that Ekade loved for the same reason I did. The planet Crematoria, the prison planet, seemed familiar. It was 700 degrees in the sun, -300 degrees in the shade. Half the planet was engulfed in flame while the other half was dark. Sounds a lot like a certain Twi'lek home planet I know of. Imagining that is exactly what Ryloth looks like is interesting to say the least.

Seemed a lot like they just tried to intensify the planet from Pitch Black to me.Seret Sajet wrote:I didn't hate Chronicles of Riddick but I didn't love it either. I fell right in-between.

Maybe so, but I'm not sticking up for it. Its just one of those situations where a movie visualizes something for you. Having an example of what the Twi'lek home planet might look like helps RP and writing. The better you can visualize something then the better you will write and talk about it.Dwilah wrote:Seemed a lot like they just tried to intensify the planet from Pitch Black to me.Seret Sajet wrote:I didn't hate Chronicles of Riddick but I didn't love it either.
