The books were some of my favorite RPG literature EVER. I never even played the modules. I'd just get them so I could see what the places they described in the books looked like in intricate detail. Some of the coolest maps this side of the Dracula Ravenloft module.

The moxes are going for $500 apiece last I heard. You should cash in, mon frer. You could probably buy a new car with what you have.

Anyone need some unopened Revised boosters?

:D

All my good cards are beat to shit, so they're not worth too much. I only collected the ones I used.

Well if we're going to throw collectible card games into the mix then its Legend of the Five Rings for me. Man I still have boxes of those things cluttering up my closet space.

Card game is Lord of the Rings TCG by Decipher. Although I used to be a huge Magic fan 8 years ago. I sold all mine about 3 years ago though. I still have tons of the LoTR cards though.

Moxes were about that much back there to..but those were Beta moxes. No i dont have any of those unfortunately...I do have some of the more rare dragons like Shivan, Vishivan, Teka's and Elders. Also have some nice artifacts like Phyrexian Dreadnaught ect ect. I really dont know what all kinds of cards I have anymore...just that I have alot. My favorite card was Necropotence.

I have done RP on other online games, no one takes it as seriously as they do here... everyone is too dedicated to the game (XP, Grinding, farming) and not the community.
It would be better if there was a server dedicated to RP. DAOC has them, but nobody acts like the characters, its still about farming xp till they ding 50, and forming gank groups...

If I could find a local group to play the James Bond RPG by Victory Games (from wayyyyy back in 1982) I'd probably not touch my computer for games for months, WOW included.

Matter of fact, it was right before Christmas 22 years ago (WHOA!) in 1982 that my brother brought home the Basic Game Manual from a hobby shop for a fun read. Soon "his" book became "my" book and it was all about the Bond for the next seven years until literally 45 minutes before the first trip to my college dorm.

If it's got to do with James Bond books or movies before 1988 then I'm probably a bigger fan than for Star Wars and Star Trek combined! And that's really saying something.

Damn! Memories...I can almost hear D100 rattling now.

I don't want to derail so if anyone knows of any Bond Online RP sites, send me a PM please.

After canceling my SWG Account and having a look at the WoW Open Beta last year I'm stuck with Matrix Online now. In fact, I didn't want to play an MMORPG again, but.. Somehow MxO got me. Too bad I can't post screens here, 'cause it plain rocks. *cough*PM *cough*

Anyone ever play the Pencil and Paper RPG called Kult?

It was a very morbid, occult themed RPG but damn if it wasn't fun and downright twisted. I mean scenerio had us walking through the 7 levels of hell. Its like Dante's Inferno and H.P. Lovecraft all rolled up into a nice little game. Very short run on the game though so I don't know if any of you ever tried it.

As far as console goes, I never really played many RPGs or really thought of them as RPGs while I was playing. I would have to say Legend of Zelda because it is probably one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played because I played it with my sisters (and to this day my sister Tracee is the only one to ever beat it).

I didn't find Zelda 2 hard, I could just never beat "Shadow Link" at the end.

Vay, for the Sega CD, really opened my eyes up to RPGs. For that horrible (now that I look back on it) system, Vay was definately a strong point.

For the computer, it's the Fallout series hands down, but then again I have yet to play KOTOR.

As far as Collectable Card Games go, I have a TON of those. Remember when eleventy billion of them came out after M:tG was a hit? Well, I probably have them all. My favorite by far was Legend of the Five Rings. I was Scorpion Clan before Scorpion Clan was cool.
