Not only that, it puts too much emphasis on weapon over player skill in personal combat.

At master level in this game the only thing that seperates people is ther weapons , armor, and knowledge of their chosen profession. everyone is the same at master "skill" wise.Ekade wrote:I have to agree with you there.Novall wrote:Weapons like this is what has ruined the combat encounters of this game.

A squad leader was in charge of the replicant battle group last night..Del'tar Chagas wrote:Wait a second...there were people that ACTUALLY spent skill points on squad leader? That must been like in ancient times.
I was a master squad leader/master carbineer for my first 4 months on this character. I saw it as the perfect combo. In game mechanics made it a horrible combo then. Of course I didn't have buffs, armor, or food back then like I have now.Del'tar Chagas wrote:Wait a second...there were people that ACTUALLY spent skill points on squad leader? Well, to be honest I usually wore no tag because I didn't want to be known as a squad leader. They are targets on raids and if you ever wear any of the tags people remember. With the few that existed at that time it was rare to have more than one with you on a mission and worse yet they were the last in the sequence to take out a base so they had to be protected the longest.Del'tar Chagas wrote:I have yet to see someone in game with one of the Squad Leader tags up. I have even seen the elusive CSR's with their yellow name tags. But no squad leaders.
LOL I had an Alt that actually mastered ranger while working on CH :PDel'tar Chagas wrote:Wait a second...there were people that ACTUALLY spent skill points on squad leader? That must been like in ancient times.
LOL. I had a friend that would always find me in really strange places (pre mounts/vehicles) by using that. I would be surveying or something and here he comes over the hill at me. "hey i was just in the area and I saw you..."Isleh wrote:Although.... a master ranger would probably be very useful in the Bounty Hunter system..... being able to see a list of all players in a 400m radius and their direction and distance?
