I'm interested in attending and entering, but I don't see myself getting on by 9PM. You need entrants, not people who may or may not be there, so I'll try to get on in time. But I can't enter ahead of time cuz I won't know!

I've heard a lot of "I am interested but I can't make it" and/or "I will be late". Should I postpone the event?

As anyone who has attempted an event will tell you.. people are flaky when it comes to showing up. My advice.. forge forward. You don't need a BIG turnout to have a successful event. There will always be people who don't show unexpectedly, and people who do show unexpectedly.
Give it a shot.. if it is fun, hype will occur naturally and the turnout will go up for the next one.

I'd love to be there especially since racing fits Dasumis character perfectly, but as always i won't be able to make it due to time difference

And all this before the second link.
Dooo you are a nut! Or maybe I'm just silly like that. Probably a little of both. "Sheepshead Mon Calamarian". Classic. This is my first candidate for Best Laugh of 2005.

Ack!!! I was reminded last night that I have a wedding to attend (in-game) tonight at 9pm in New Kala'uun.
It sucks not having a short term memory anymore.

I guess the invite came to me over a month ago.. LOL. Sheesh... the chances of me remember that are exactly ZERO.

The race will begin in (guestimate) 20 or 30 minutes. Last call for racers.

Bah. Sorry I showed up late. I thought it was at 9:30 eastern, which I was still at work at the time. I then spent the 30 min after I got back looking for black gloves, only to show up too late.

We had a total of six racers--Zannon, Iago, Xyryn, Oeree, Rye, and Unnamed Both'an. They all said they enjoyed it in the end and I'm glad. Nyasu also showed up at the end.
We had two people attacked by the random spawn Tuskens on the course, which I'd hoped for (what's a race in Star Wars without Tuskens taking pot shots?) though it turned into a bit of an ordeal. Also a few of the racers missed the last waypoint, but they were the ones I think that got smacked up by Tuskens so it's all good.
Unnamed, Oeree, and Rye all came roaring in at the same time and I honestly have no clue which one of them is first, second, and third place. You'll have to ask the others about Miss Speedy Wiles' race and what they thought about it...since I didn't race it, after all.
Thanks again to everyone who came!

Thanks for a great time Dwilah, I think it really went well. I did learn one very important thing from last night....tuskens hate Rodians!! Just ask Iago.
