P.S. The Rebel have insignias? I'd like to see 'em. Sadly I can only assign regular ranks and special ranks but if you rebel and you can find a rank insignia you want I'll add it. Just keep in mind it will never change with post count like the regular ones.

Think of the Rebel Officers on Hoth.

The General had 5 red dots, arranged like like the dots on a die, or domino.

Lesser officers had fewer dots, in various patterns, but most very similar to those on a die. I will try to locate this book and scan in the pictures for you.

The book I have is different, but it is also about 10 years old. However, much of the content and references in SWG are consistent with these books. I think the Dev's relied on them heavily.

I am referring to the SWG roleplaying game books by West End Games.

Ah, I did run into that site before. I love how uncreative they got with the rebel insignias. What did Lucas come up with them during a craps game or something? I mean if an Imp goes out and kills a Rebel Colonel and a Rebel Captain does he get all the money on the pass line back at the Imperial base? (See Skarr's rebel ranks link to get the joke)

Those aren't ranks, they're SIX SIDED DICE.

Don't know if you guys noticed, but some of the NPC rebels in game have the rank as well. I've killed quit a few 5 sided ones, as well as some 4s.

I noticed that also, but I didn't know that was their rank insignias.

It is, but the generation for it is rather random. You can get low end missions and still see em sometimes. Mostly it's the genrals that have em.

I see them on almost all the rebels i've killed except for rebel medics....that includes Dooo.
