Not always. I rarely see Ekade speak basic anymore.
Correct... the first thing I do when I log in is switch to Ryl.
Ekade was born and raised on Ryloth. She can speak basic, but retains a thick accent.

I originally had a zabrak on Bria last March and saw Ryl spoken only a few times my first day. Then I fled Bria, after a few weeks, and made my first Twi...named her from what little I could remember of that first day. NOW i can go back and see what Ryl really looks like! :-D

I had always wondered myself if it was possible to unlearn the languages and when I found out how, I knew it would be appreciated here.
Most people do speak Basic, but it is neat to see the other languages being spoken to try and figure out what they're saying. Zabrak is actually pretty easy to understand, some of the others are impossible. I have already learned a few words in Ryl so I recognize them every now and then.
