No more Zeal!?!

Long time ago, but i never went back because of that. I was in the cantina, and without warninng, i was kicked out, stuck in mid air for ten seconds (giving thme enough freaking time to surround me) and then they killed me, over and over. I was cloned, killed.... clone, killed... over and over.

I do appreciate the invite to Nocturnus, btw. Thanks guys.

I will have to discuss with my sisters what we want to do. If we do move, and if we do move to a player city, I am sure Nocturnus will be at the top of the list. The other leading options are: Dont Move, and Move to the 'burbs of a Non-Player City like Mos Eisley.

I will be establishing a group within my guild that will be a sort of secret society of Role Players. The Ruby Cardinals right now are made up of about 10% RP'ers. I understand that is a very small number, but I will be encouraging more RP in the city and in the guild. This group within the guild will have RP events and will make RP optional to those that wish to participate. We are a Metropolis and an all Rebel city living under the nose of the Emperor, about 2k m from his retreat on Naboo.

Whar has already been to Ruby Lake and was seen "questioning" someone in town recently. I would like to invite you all to come visit Ruby Lake whenever you wish and if you ever need another city for events, etc... feel free to contact me or just come and play them out. When I establish the RP group a bit more, I am sure we will need more RP'ers to interact with so I will be letting them know about this site and community.

Who has control of the city now? Is it still a RP city?

If it is still a RP city, then maybe we can tie it in with Jabe's idea of RPing the Exodus. We are close to Bestine and a Rebel strong hold would surely make Imperial officials in Bestine to take some action. So, Imperials have taken control of the city to eliminate the Rebel threat. The Temple of the Goddess moves underground.

If not, then maybe Nocturnus.

I look forward to the establishment of Ruby Lake as a more RP oriented city. Being Imperial, I get too scared to go there :), but if I can get diplomatic immunity, I am up for a trip any time.. :)

I keep meaning to pay a visit to these RP cities, but I always get side tracked. Doesn't help that most the ones I find out about are all rebel terrorist bases.

The situation in Zeal/Mos Tera isn't nearly as bleak as it looks. It was taken over by Dark Forces, for what should be obvious reasons (I know them first hand, but don't know if I'm at liberty to say). Even though everyone knows Dark Forces PvPs, you have to remember who their boss is.

Griggs Carnacious, who I believe is registered here, is the leader of Dark Forces. With that in mind, here are some other things you should consider...

1 - If anyone remembers when I had an Imperial Shutdown of Casino Night, Griggs was there in full uniform and RPing. He even brought a few of his guys along. He may be more of a PvPer than an RPer, but he's making his way to our side of the spectrum.

2 - Griggs runs a TIGHT ship. There will be no griefing of RPers in the city, and if there is, he will fix it immediately. He takes the actions of his guild very seriously.

3 - Griggs is virtually on the level of Nyase for people I respect in this game. He's a pure asset to have around. A few days ago, I was out in the Krayt Graveyard getting Kryats stolen from me left and right. I told him about it and he came out there. I found a Krayt, attacked it, and when other people would hop on, he'd tell them to leave and they would. He's THAT respected. Also remember, the Battle of Skara Brae wouldn't have been as big of a success without him.

4 - This is the best possible "invasion" you could hope for. You want to be a roleplayer? You were just handed a gift of immense standing. Your city, which was a haven for artistry, was just taken over by Imperial forces. You don't want to flee, for whatever reason, so you were now just forced underground. That has fallen in your lap. Work with it.

Like I said guys, this isn't a bad situation. The only negative thing is you'll have to become accustomed to seeing jedi. A lot.

I will be blunt.. I am pissed in the manner in which it was handled. Neither Griggs nor Misha-lina approached me or the other roleplayers in the city.. they just up and did it.

It is a slap in the face. I am very upset, and very insulted.
You want to be a roleplayer?
Come again?

Yeah.. as I slowly cool down from the "step aside puny roleplayers" I got last night I am starting to think of what good can come of this.

If any of those people are remotely interested in RP.. I might be able to get some of them hooked.

I always say "conflict is good for RP".. I guess I should not whine about it.. LOL.

Not knowing how this was handled it's hard for me to comment on this subject. However, it does open up a potential for all the rebel leaning players to accually play the part of a rebelion. You have to watch what you say and who you meet with. You can have "secret" meetings to plot a way to over throw the Imperial pressence. It has great rp potential.

E where you part of the "leadership" of Zeal. Did Griggs make this change with out informing you or your friends? How was this handled?

Yes, thank you for pointing out the potential.

Was I part of the "leadership" of Zeal? That is in interesting question. At one time, I may have said yes. In light of recent events, I would say no.

We were not informed whatsoever.
