They did say they were putting a timer on them. In addition to only being able to pull out five(and i bet they're going ot cost like 100k each), they'll probly have like a 5 hour timer it.

I could see the problem of abuse riseing out if this but one these do have time limits and two there is a limit of 5 perperson so you would have to find 50 dumb asses who would all be whiling to get TIEs or what not and place them around some one elses city. And even if some one, or a group, does abuse this they can always be benned from the use of the items.

Besides- If idiots place decorations, you just RP an imperial invasion and be happy that a good chunk of credits is out of the hands of the Moron Contingent of the galaxy.

Any money sink that primarly affects the foolish is a good thing for this game.

Bah. All this talk of placing TIEs around cities has made me actually consider doing it. Even if it is only for a few hours. Actually, what would probly work better is if you used AT-AT reckages. Then you can say it was a failed invasion attempt. Man I miss land mines.

OMG.. this is probably the coolest idea I have seen come out of SOE recently.

THIS is good stuff. I pray this does not get abused and revoked. This is something us roleplayers can REALLY put to good use.

Well, for the most part, they are pretty much passive. As long as you can't place one to block entrance into a building, I really don't see them as a tool that can be used to grief.

Even if someone does, you can be sure that it'll go away eventually.

They do need to add a YT1300 to the items

Oh COOL, I clicked on the "Chest" link in the treasure chest section. It can also look like the skelatal remains of a body.

Yeah.. a little competition is proving to be good for the consumer.

Props to SOE for making an effort. I was worried they would just have their hand and say, "To hell with you all".
