at that website I listed, frozencpu.com, I ordered some stuff and when I got one thing, a $10 window sticker, I got the wrong color, so I emailed the the website, and they are letting me keep the blue one, and sending me the red one...i thought that was pretty cool

Wow cool. Well I ended up needing to get a case sooner than later so I went up to Fry's and 355 and Buttefield and got one that was all tricked out and on sale. So far I haven't had any problems with the case closed. Its got a side fan that vents right doen on the proc and a roof fan. I am going to get another fan in back too.

I'm headed to the new Fry's in Downer's Grove this weekend if you want to tag along Coyote Boy. Probably Sunday, just gimme a ring-a-ding-ding.

Call me if you're going. If I'm not spending time with my family (who are in town), maybe I can tag along. Wife and baby might want to go also.

This one came with the fan on the side over the proc and it the other is on the roof. It has a temp gauge on the front and it stays about 95 when I am playing and 90 when I am not. Is that high or low? I never checked case temp before.

Yeah i am pretty sure is fahrenheit, although the case doesn't have any doc that specifies.

if it was 95C I think you'd know.. it would be 203F

if you think its celsius put a frying pan on top of your pc and crack an egg in it and see if it cooks. ;)

Man, I'll never understand why anyone will pay almost $100 for a case. The case I'm currently using I bought from Colorcases.com before they moved out of Chicago and into Miami. It cost me around $30, then I got the fans (4 80mm) for $2 each, a duel fan PS for $13. I never had any sort of heat problem.

Right now I'm working on building a fiberglass case (made totally with fiberglass panels from Home Depot), and it's much more trouble than it's worth. I should have at least taken a carpentry class or something first.

As far as I know most people pay more...

heh. Buy a 4 3/4" holesaw ;)

and use a 120mm fan... too bad a holesaw that big is rediculously priced.
