Closing it down (Wrap up for Grieves/Batty/Vreese)

These are all awesome points. Since I jumped more into the RP side of this game I've come to enjoy it 100x more. I'll go hunting to build a template so if I ever need to fight my way out in a RP situation I'll be prepared. Honestly though, once I've gotten that done I doubt I'll grind out any more profs (unless of course the smugg reveamp hits)...maybe pilot..we'll see. I hear a lot of complaining going on about how ppl cant kill even the easiest of NPC's in the new CU. In star wars I think anything with teeth should be a threat.

If I ever get the urge to blast stormtroopers or swing a lightsaber I load up good ol Jedi Outcast. The arena mod lets you saber battle 100 dark jedi in waves in a death star setting all to the sound of 'Smack Your Bitch Up'. Anyone interested in getting this mod just let me know

Well, my basic point is that I'm basically paying for a chat messenger if I don't like and don't participate in the Combat system (which makes up a bulk of the actual game aside from the 1/3rd of Entertainment and 1/3rd Crafting... nither of which I'm particularly fond of outside of the RP perspective). I've already 'played' the CU system they've got going live in other games (games their pretty well blatantly copying) and came back to this one to get away from that very system.


As for the wrap up... That's entirely what you all make of it now; As it always was. With Batty, I've already wrapped up the one tie he had in RP that he really cared about and that is they say is that. Grieves can be killed as he's only a man... I would urge some of the more 'evil' minded RPers to pick up the reigns from here on out though.


And Vreese leaves behind a multitude of friends. I'll still be in and out for a few more days to wrap things up... but consider most of it to be OOC since I've just lost the urge to participate in RP atm.

I'd like to apologize to all of you for the abrupt halt; But CU affects me very very much. And I'd like to swallow my pride a little and just say sorry for the outlash against the game. I don't think any game is better than this one; But I do feel a lot of potential is being waisted by not just fixing the current system. As I keep saying, if things were knocked down a bit with the current system it would 'become' challenging. And none of us would have to adjust to a system we don't like. *shrugs* As Iago once said, "Who listens to Batty?" Apparently not many. *chuckles*


I will end this thread with this... If I do come back... I think we'll see a very persistant Batty(one can seldom stop the heart in love), rejouvinated Vreese(the woman searching for a balance to her fiery soul), and perhaps an even more evil Grieves (the man with the hole in his soul that no ammount of pain nor greed can fill) arise from the ashes.

Ok, it's taken a lot of thought and already some pissing contests so to speak. But I'm staying and I already Pre-ordered RoW even though that expansion makes about as much sense to me as the CU.

I'll still be grumpy about that for sometime. I'm a soloist primarily when it comes to combat except for with a few friends.

Now because of this though; I'm staying, I'm leaving, I'm staying... some of my RP has gotten severly messed up. All I will say is there are a few of you I simply will not be RPing with now. For ooc reasons I might not even reply to tells. I won't name names... you can figure that out for yourself ig.

That aside; I wearily await the CU changes and ponder about the Dev's reasoning for out of sinc story arc expansions. Happy gaming.
