Yes! The new outfits were cute.
And the RP was intriguing and varied.
Do any of us visit the other venues...the ones that are popping up or have developed over the past year? the Kreetles went to one on Sunday. And I think that the Kreetles have some competition developing...overheard some comments about another band.
We're getting some more LeKKu players coming, and more interaction is happening with them. We're haven't been very quick to play with strange faces, but that seems to be changing...especially on Casino nites. The gambling seems to be a good ice breaker.
A while back there was discussion of having a beach party, and expanding our venues. I think Jabe started that idea. What happened to that?

I think the whole idea of this site is to make large RP connections for an overall Gorath RPing community...if somebody hear about other events, let's hear 'em.

This topic comes up from time to time. In fact, it was actually a part of the initial design of the S&V event (at that time, Casino Night did not yet exist).
Our thinking was that we'd have S&V change venues regularly, to showcase some of the RP cities, NPC cities and various other places of note.
Then our concern became losing roleplayers because not everybody is plugged into 'Tales. Some people learn of this through word of mouth only. If the event moved, they might never know.
In addition, we should consider the theme of S&V.. it is supposed to be seedy. Having a beach party might not be a good fit.

Have you seen how cranky Novall gets when he gets sand in his "travelling armor"? It's not pretty, trust me.
Basically I see 2 likely courses of action:
1) Think of a good venue to have S&V at one night and make it happen.
2) Leave S&V where it is. If we want to have a party, have one as a seperate event.
There are pro's and con's to both.
If ya want to make something happen, we can do that.

I am not hating. Just seeing if you are paying attention.
But yes Xyryn, if you want to work on a new venue, let me know and we will put something together!
