You should have heard me cackling at GenCon a few years back. OMFG!!!
That's my main reason for going THIS year..I'll have to send you some fine examples from my GenCon photo collection!! Visible underpants lines on Spiderman, Gusy with hair tufts poking out of their plumber butt, androginous "things", they're all there!

And the best part? My wife is just as mean about it as I am!!

The stench.. OMG the stench.. And I love how they only sold ultra-high-sugar-content food there.

My friend told me it would be a "human zoo". He could not have been more dead on. The place smelled like a zoo.

I knew I was in for a treat.. we where driving up to Milwaukee.. we stopped at a Wendy's or something... we saw these 3.. very pasty (almost translucent) creatures.. No shower.. bed head.. smelly.. the whole 9 yards.

I said, "Do you think.." (I was going to finish with "they are going to GenCon?"

My friend cut me off, "Most definately".

I am glad I have gone once. Definately something we all should experience. :)

They have all the atmosphere of GenCon only 75% of patrons are certi-fucking-fiable. Sorry for the language but my god was I scared. I wanted to hundle in the corner with a copy of Lenord Nemoy Sings to ward them off.

Have you seen the Leonard Nimoy Bilbo Baggins video?

I normally don't use the word "trippy"... but that was TRIPPY.

For two weeks straight I had that Bilbo song stuck in my head after seeing that video.

The only thing that saved my sanity was discussing the subject of how many of those chicks in the video Mr. Spock got down and dirty with. :D

Yeah, the girl I saw this with is a real bleeding heart for this type of stuff and she was crying. I was doing my absolute best to not laugh, but I couldn't hold it in. Can you imagine him thinking it was part of the ride?

(Whew, glad I won't look like the only evil one here.)

Y'know, listening to you all talk makes me glad I didn't go to that Star Wars convention that was in Indianapolis a couple of years ago.
