Roots and snares?

Yeah that's what I meant, spam over my head. I only see it when using Duelist Stance so I thought it was working, anyone else know for sure?

When I used it before, I would get that message, BUT when i had combat spam up, nothing ever got reflected back...the word in the BH forums was that it was broken...

but I haven't used it lately since it never did anything

I'm pretty sure it's either been fixed or that it at least does something. Because I definately notice a decrease in the amount of damage I take for a short period of time after using it. But maybe I'm crazy.

I didn't know that it prevented damage. I thought you would still recieve the full amount of damage, but that 10 percent of that would also be done to your attacker.

When I used duelist stance last night, I thought I took the full damage, and it reflected back 25 pts at the attacker instantly

these were matching lvl 80 thieves (i'm lvl 80 too)

Was that against a melee fighter? From what i understand, Duelist stance does not work as well against melee as against ranged.

these were against ranged, and I edited my original post, because I thought I was taking the normal amount of damage, but I could be wrong...I forgot to look at it closely

and these were against ranged

the thing is about it, if you're going to use it, it better be your very first move, because otherwise, if you get hit while"warming" it up, it won't take effect

Duelist Stance reduces damage by roughly 20% and has a small chance to reflect back an amount that depends on the targets ranged/melee defence. Combine it with some damage mitigating foods and its really not bad.

The best example of using Duelist Stance I can give you is to use it combination with Blind, Confusion, Warning, and Intimidate shot. You can take a target thats doing 200+ a shot down to doing like 50 or less damage a hit.

It has been tested and proved :)

The root for Smuggler is Restraining Shot. Concussion shot increases the duration of daze.

Low blow delays their attacks and panic shot increased the duration of the delay.

Overwhelming shot reduces the ability to resist.

I have been taking lessons on how to be uber :razz: To follow up on several story arcs, Isleh has dropped dancer. I fully intend on getting dancer back so don't worry about that.

The alarmaddin will put a system message on the screen letting you know that dueliststance is almost over and to stand still. "\#FF0000\" was my touch from the BH boards and will make the system message show up red.

/duelistStance;
/pause 28;
/alarmAddIn 0 0 \#FF0000\Stand Still! Duelist stance is almost up!;
/pause 3;
/macro duelist;

Get rid of all the recovery buttons on your toolbar and replace it with this macro (or all of the ones you have )

/knockdownrecovery;
/dizzyrecovery;
/stunrecovery;
/blindrecovery;
