Thanks to everyone that came out. We got kind of bogged down in the foods and basics so it was kind of late when we got on to the duelling and practical stuff.
Hopefully the next time we can do this, we'll jump more into working on using templates effectively. There is a level of "what to bring/wear" to get out of the way just to be there, then it starts to be "what special to use and when".
We started looking at Isleh's template and found a little combo that would be effective against a Jedi. Using concussion shot to mez me and force my defensive specials to drop while I am around 3/4 or 1/2 health, Isleh could follow with Last Ditch and possibly finish me off in one shot. If she does so outside of Saber Throw range, she can stim up and possibly Synth in the case that it didn't land or didn't manage to incap me. The move no longer insta-incaps, so there is room to try and use it a few times in a long fight.
To be honest, little combos like this in templates that on the surface look less viable, tend to be Alonzo's specialty. Hopefully we can look over more people's templates and get the most out of them.
