Calm down:
Blue glowie obi-wan is not at all continuity breaking.
Now i hate jedi as much as anyone...however, we know some other facts too:
The player capital ships were nearly completed months ago...meaning they are either part of this expansion or we get them free. Either way, awesome.
I don't think the devs are stupid enough to truly make this planet jedi only.
It'll probably be 20 bucks....that's really not much
Finally: Just try to hold off on judgement until more details are out

Just back from Leipzig, wasnt able to attend the FanFest and came into Leipzig evening of Friday.
Was sharing a room with a friend who attended and basically it seems to be high-level content, mostly for Jedi with a lot of Jedi loot drop.
We talked on Saturday our way through the SOE presentation at the games convention - 6 computers EQ2 and JtL.
After getting to know some of the SOE people we set up on one of the computers, they switched it to a ground game demo (basically a set-up offline server with a special presentation region, including some kind of jabba palace with a CL 40 Grievous) and we players from the german community were allowed to basically present the groundgame and its features to the visitors of the Convention.
Me and some other german com members from gorath worked there voluntarily from 11 am till 5 pm, chatting with DEVs, producers and so on, so I had my little FanFest, too ;)
As far as Hoth goes:
My friend noted that some of the producers actually thought Hoth to be a cool option, they considered Dagobah for a while but in the end decided against it - continuity. Thanks.
We also talked about the possibility of Coruscant, which, in the words of one of the programmers, is basically doable, as well as ships flying into atmosphere and landing, until it comes to the tricky enter-the-ship question.
All-in-all: Hours of fun, throat totally dry, sweaty clothes, eyes covered by sunglasses because of too much light outside.

And: Dont hate Jedi, just think they dont fit in the SW storyline, but - they are here, can live with it and had some nice RP with well played Jedi characters. (The ones where you only know OOC that they are a jedi or if you surprise them somewhere)

Thanks a bunch for the great report. I wonder if that Jabba's thing you saw could be an early version of the Jabba's Casino they had teased us
with many months ago. Glad ya had a good time and again appreciate the info.
