I dunno. that is definately better than a straight melee weapon. I always prefer something that I can use at range. The one thing that always gets me is SG-1. I think the Gould weapons are pretty cool but they always seem inferior because of the rate of fire and the fact that you can see them coming.
Otherwise the staff weapons and the Zat are pretty kick ass. Also that hand device that they can use to kill people is pretty cool. You don't have to worry about your enemy getting it and using it on you. Unless its another Gould.

Yeah, now yer talkin. The bullet with you name on it... literally. Can't go wrong with Gene Simmons sans makeup as the bad guy.
How about the Krull blade? I was always partial to that one.

I'd have been more impressed if you had used the correct name Seret.

Okay, wait, I just remembered what mine is:
El Mariachi's guitar case.
How could I forget that? I only bought a guitar case and turned it into my paintball gun case because of the awesomeocity of that movie.
/rolleyes.

Three years before we saw the Death Star obliterate Alderaan, the tachyon powered Wave Motion Gun was killing planets and stars. It was so raw that the crew hesitated to use it even to save themselves.

Damn you. You managed to throw in an off topic post in a split from another thread that was derailed! (SCI-FI/Horror =P)
I love you guys.

I used to like that movie when I was younger. I always felt kinda bad for the cyclops. He had the shittiest weapon of all time. All he got was that stupid overgrown fondue fork.

Bingo!
Pfffft.. I loved Krull.
You had a princess that never got dirty.. more than one crazy old man.. good music.. a party of adventurers (with colorful, gritty characters).. a "dungeon" with traps!
That's goodness all around!
Movies that sucked: Legend, Willow (the Val Kilmer character was cool, the rest of the movie was not), Dungeon Master
Compared to the fantasy fare of the time.. Krull was near the top of the pile. It was no Conan the Barbarian.. but still damn good!

* shrug * It was better than a lot of movies that get mentioned on these forums. I remember watching more than once and not being forced to do so.

I liked watching Seret's older brother wander through the dungeon's endlessly on the Willow 8-bit Nintendo game. Those were fun sleep-overs.
