I was thinking about the short exchange you and I had last night and I have to say that I really like what you're doing...BUT the biggest problem about any free-form RP event is that EVERYONE is talking at once and there are about 200 plot lines being developed at the same time.

At S & V night, the majority of the folk are in character and doing one of two things, either doing something illegal or planning something illegal. This is going to make interviews impossible in character. I suggest when going into something like this, record your chat log the whole time and then after the event, go through it and try to get info from that for articles. From a RP standpoint, this would be compared to an investigative reporter evesdropping on conversations and just sitting back and observing the room. Throwing a few credits down for info about certain people would also get you some stuff to use when you're at S & V night.

Zannon is a businessman and some of his dealings are less than legal, so he doesn't talk a lot about them in public. Although, you can expect a ring on your comlink sometime this week from him. :D

Had a blast last night playing thug with Novall (the man must have macros for tuck-and-roll/evade, or else he is one fast typist!).

Great fight, too!

He is a fast typist.

This has the unfortunate effect of making Novall a superhero. :D

I am starting to become a big fan of Rodian roleplayers. The ones I know.. Zannon, Iago, Rongo, Johrel.. they all do a great job of being that kind of opportunistic businessman type. They won't be bullied into a fight, but you can negotiate with them.

You guys do a great job of adding flavor to the game through your RP.

Heh, if you land a punch on me...I will hit the ground if I cant evade it in time or if it seems just tasteless to make a move 2-3 mins after a swing was thrown.

I will duck and cover or roll and stand. I've spent many long long hours trying to master the roll out technique so that it looks as believable as possiable. Scragg smacked and punched me a couple times...and I wrythed at all of em till he grabbed my shirt :) Then...the fun began. I personally dont believe in standing around getting punched if you and others believe that your character would know how to get out of such events as tacticly safe for himself as possiable. If it makes me a superhero to use all my characters known abilities...then someone sew me up a cape 8-)

I like how NOREL said you guys run in twos...then out of the blue my old pal Dossk shows up with a blaster trained on NOREL :P

That friggin lizard of his nearly scared the crap out of me. I was like "Ok...only attack if we HAVE to."

Ekade, now you know why I asked for that mind buff :) Yes I do go to all social functions buffed...because Novall is no turnip.

Do you really think that is a good idea? :D

Maybe the message you should be hearing is "Get off your ass and get the dagger as you were hired to do".

Yeah I am kinda up in the air about him pulling out 3 story monsters during an rp even if its getting rough. I kept feeling like an idiot backscrolling during all of it because I kept getting distract by RL stuff and then spatial was flooded so sometimes I would miss stuff that you said.

I wasn't trying to come off as stupid as I did.. :)

To Coiyonite:

I was kinda curious how that whole encounter got turned around.. I seemed to remember frisking you and taking your concealed gun.. and keeping my pistol trained on you when Norel showed up.. maybe I missed something when I searched you..
