yeah you can type while loading, not sure if doing so activates your "redness"

Keystrokes in the queue may be what's causing the loading twitches that we've mistaken as people being fully loaded.

You can type /lfg before you shuttle over, and /lfg again when you are completely loaded. So (LFG) up would mean you are off limits.

/afk would be more suitable because it clears on its own when you use shuttle, but I'm not sure which is the actual moment when it clears: when you finish loading or when you start travelling.

if /afk clears, it's most likley when you start travelling. In 2 years of playing, I've can't recall someone showing up with afk up. At a loading zone.
