I think since Publish... 17 or so... I just haven't been too amazed by this anymore. Which I guess is the sad part. We're always swimming in so many bugs that when they push another major publish or expansion we pretty well expect for new bugs and old ones to come back.
Think we'll ever have a bug free day, week, or month in this game at this point?

I don't know if this is the same butt sliding problem that allways existd - but in such case: It came into my habbit, allways when I sit down, I do it twice. Sit, RMB click, sit. That way I have never slid away. (seems to me like server has some problem remembering your coordinates when you sit down and it then ejects you back to the last confirmed position - like when you loose internet connection and your position on client is being reset on a 5 second refresh rate interval, or so... - or when you have strong lag, you can see mobs running to a position you were at 5 sec ago but still hitting you. At least I guess it is soE-bo Obi wrote:no but I was butt sliding all over the temple last night when I tried to sit down. I'm glad they fixed that 10 patches ago.

all I can say is the bugs aren't bad enough to make us quit yet. I don't know if that's good, bad, or just sad.

Depends who "us" is. I don't like to bash SOE but they're killing off the few things I still enjoy in the game.Hashum wrote:all I can say is the bugs aren't bad enough to make us quit yet. I don't know if that's good, bad, or just sad.

Well...it is software, written by humans and used by humans on human made and human ran machines. I haven't ever used a program on a computer yet that hasn't ever had SOME kind kind of error or bug or glitch, caused by programming or the hardware or the way I used it. And this game is being updated far quicker than most other programs, I think. It's going to have more bugs. So my answer would be that bugs and glitches are to be expected due to the nature of the technology.Sai'nu wrote:Think we'll ever have a bug free day, week, or month in this game at this point?

Yes, but I can't help but wonder if it's just to make planet's more dedicated to particular CL's. Tat is sort of a beginner planet so maybe it's wise to keep those high grinders in other systems?Jabe Adaks wrote:Depends who "us" is. The terminals work out of other player cities just not on Tattooine. I don't know if you can draw CL 80+ missions from an NPC on Tat or not which might let us know if it was intentional or not.
Maybe we should start hunting on Yavin? I've never spent enough time there, would be fun to grind somewhere new.

I really like Yavin and Endor...I'd like to see small hunting groups going out of there. Particularly Yavin. They're dangerous for one person alone at times, but I like the scenery and the creatures.Hashum wrote:Maybe we should start hunting on Yavin? I just like killing things, name, shape, size, these mean nothing me. Just slaughter them in hordes. Anyone up for this Monday night?Dwilah wrote:I really like Yavin and Endor...I'd like to see small hunting groups going out of there. Particularly Yavin. Thanks for the support, Ekade - we've won for the past two years, ever since the tradition was reinstated after a long absence. Here's to continuing the tradition of pwning their cocky young butts!
