Well thats a positive thing, I think.

I only dislike gays that make a point of reminding you of their special disposition at every opportunity.

Aside form that lesbians rule.

Thank you Sharn for bringing this up. Sleep deprivation may not make for clear typing, but it sure made for a clear question.

Whar and Zyre are both trying to get some other things going. Hojo and Batak are, too. Then, there is the terraforming Lok plot. The response to all of the above is disappointing.

So, do you all really want something different?

Honestly I think the current plot options are quite good. They appear to be leading us to some very good RP opportunities. I don't see any problem with the current arcs and ideas in development. I'll be supporting all of them and hopefully be involved in all of them to some degree or another.

We're also getting to shake-down our RP Guildwar mechanism, and that is very cool.

Since everything is somewhat freeflow... I'd say switch to one of the different story arcs or start one of your own and try to get a few of us involved in it, Sharn.

I agree, plus the current plots seem rather open ended in that they could result in long term RP even if the "issue" at hand seemed to be resolved. I like plots that really change and impact your character for the long term, instead of just being another story.

But I'm open to help with anything I can.

well im kinda involved deeply in the problem with Sepiv. being that because of my stupidity (and yes its MY fault) the jedi are now being openly hunted by the other players. im willing to bet even poor dwilah would tremble in fear and let the empire know where the jedi are hiding if she saw an injured person with a lightsaber (luckily im building mine into my arm)

though griven your in for a suprise im not the sweet little sharn anymore i reformated my template for the sole purpose of mimicing jedi abilities before i become an actual jedi

Ekade warned you against openly defying the empire. :D

Attacking an Inquisitor in a city that openly supports the empire... not good.

Remember.. these are the people who will blow your planet up if you disagree with the idea that an evil dictator is what the galaxy needs.

Some people also enjoy openly ignoring the possibility of consequences to their actions too. * shrug * I still can't figure out why someone would attack have attacked Nyvveck after he gave them what they wanted. It was in the arena of the stupidest thing I had ever seen in game.

Sorry to be so blunt but I was like WTF! I expected a sentencing her too hard time and then a breakout, not a I will release her and... oh shit well we didn't plan for a freedom thing that didn't involve us so lets attack him anyway for no apparent reason just so we can be involved in a fight. I expect that kind of thing in Theed from all the asshats running around, but not at an RP event.

Huh? Somebody say my name?

...also, as an aside...into your arm sounds painful. And possibly awkward?

I do like the prospect of new storylines, and I'd be more than willing to work with anyone on ideas for one.

I'm sure I am in for a surprise, Sharn. Then again, I've improved in PvP as well. Griven isn't as courteous as usual when he's hunting a mark. I've been trying to transform him into a cold killer kinda guy. And he definitely doesn't give up on his mark, unless they're pardoned. However, we may be able to work something out RP-wise. Send me a tell in game or talk to me on AIM.

Your sound reasoning and knowledge ignores one critical "truth" of MMO RP events:

There must be a fight whether it makes sense or not.

But seriously, they came to the event wanting to fight and invented a "reason" to do so. Most of the people there were in full armor and armed to the teeth. For a minute I thought I was at the wrong place. Is this an Inquisition or a pre-invasion briefing?

The core problem is that people paint their own reality to suit their own agenda. If someone wants a fight, they just look for any loosely plausible justification to fight. Does it matter if it is an Imperial Inquisition in an Imperial City in a galaxy dominated by the Galactic Empire? Honestly, would an Imperial Inquisitor hold court in a lightly defended setting?

No.

The other rub.. would they have wanted to fight if there were 10 hard-core imperial PvP'ers standing guard? Heck no. Cherry-picking.

When I am in an imperial controlled area, I assume it is heavily guarded and patrolled, even if there are few actual players filling that role. Why? Because it just makes sense to me.

/agree

I'm always on guard at the Roba when I attend. That's really the only Imperial City I visit during RP that would justify this but I try to hide any qualms I have with the Empire while there.

Don't drop out; dropping out is for losers. :)

Instead, take the criticism constructively (which is how most of the criticism in this community is intended to be, even if some of it seems biting at times) and work with what people offer you.
