Short of Anarchy Online... I'm not really sure. SWG2: FPS Divided might not be as bad as we're thinking. Let's just hope moving day works as cleanly as house pack up has.

I expect the game to be fun. It's tested well and all, but I am so disheartened by the poor business practices of SOE that I really can't justify staying for changes I don't want after being made to pay for an expansion a week before the secret changes to the game are announced.
They knew this was coming, they had it going. It should have given some type of warning. I spent $90 on the expansion (my two accounts and one of Alonzo's "hey...the next expansion is on me
) and now I already cancelled Katan, Toront will wait for the changes but like I said, it doesn't matter if it's the best game in the world, it's not going to be the style or genre I want. Alonzo, who I got the expansion for, feels the same way.

Hmm, you know I was just thinking (don't worry I try not to make a habit of it) and I'm CL80 now eventhough I still have like 12 more boxes to grind to finish my template. With the respec if you are CL80 you will respec into CL80 again, but I wonder with the professions being dummied down as they are if I really need to bother grinding out those boxes...

Please use this thread to just list your questions and reserve you comments to others. This will facilitate Tiggs and the Devs answering them quickly.
Off the top of my head
1 - Will there be PvP, Mixed & RP servers?
2 - Will the player be able to select the server they moved to?
2a - If not, have some servers been combined?
2b - What happens if they are combined and the player has a toon on both?
3 - Has the environment on the core planets been updated?
4 - What is happening to player cities?
5 - I know politician is being kept but I don't see any mention made of players learning the politician profession. Can new players become politicians?
6 - Clarify. After I use my 10 respecs, can I change professions?
7 - There are 6 stats. Will they be adjustable by the player or will they be determined automatically? i.e. by the profession selected?
8 - Foods in existence within the game. Are they going to be brought in line with the 6 stats or become garbage like my PLKs and Molecular Clamps?
9 - Clarify No Item decay. Does this mean that the second number ( 765/800<-- ) will never be altered?
9a - Does this mean that disabled items 0/100 can now be fixed?
9b - What happens to items that were ruined during a repair? e.g. 1/1

The new character sheet will be 90 boxes in a straight line upwards from what it sounds....OOHHHH THE DIVERSITY!!!!!!

I guess I'll be grinding for the next week to make sure I don't get stuck forced to do crappy quests. I'll use my alt to then learn the game I guess, assuming it's worth learning.
I too am pissed about shelling out even just $30.00 for the expansion when they had such a major change planned.
On a personal note I do hope you give it a real go Toront, I'd hate to see you go.

I agree. I kinda wish everything would blow up so we could re-make it.
I've seen other RP communities focus their effort on one city and that idea has a lot of appeal to me. The story can be the city itself, and there would be allsorts of intrigue and political battles. So many possibilities.
Not too many possibilities in a ghost town.. or 130+ of them.

If we stay put... we may see people wanting to move to us if we work this right.
Think... offer up RP community on Gorath. Lots of players leaving because their pissed off. They see, if someone does it, that there is RP available here still... people transfer over or re-roll to escape dwindling server loads elsewhere.
I may be thinking too much about it... but, we can still try to use this as a way to draw more people to us. Dedicated RPers will probably stick with the game through the new 'Fix' across the servers.
