Tom Cruise?

I would go with the guy that plays Major Winters.

Tom Cruise is too old. That would be like Hollywood using 70 year old actors to play 45 year old Generals...which they too frequently do.

I'd think Pierce Brosnen(sp?), the guy that played Bond in the last few movies, would be a good Tony Stark. Tony is suppose to be a swave ladies man and you'd need to be able to believe that he's smart enough to put together the Iron Man suite.

Oh Marvel anonuced, sometime last month I think, that they will be doing an Avengers movie. So if that goes off and does well I'd expect to see an Iron Man not long after that.

P.S. 20 points to Toront. I figured it might be a little hard to get who did the Iron Giants voice considering how few lines he actually had in it, and those being one word lines.

Do you have the press release? Because I don't think there's any way on earth they could afford to make that movie faithfully to the comic. The cast alone would cost them a small nation's GNP.

It was in November's Game Informer (issue 151) In "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly" section.
Game Informer wrote:Marvel may be bringing its b- and c-squad superheroes to your vedio game console in the future. The comic book company has just announced that it will self-finance up to 10 films based on so-called superheroes like Ant-Man, Hawkeye, and Power Pack. Who gives a s--- about Power Pack for crap's sake?! On the bright side, Captain America, The Avengers, and Nick Fury are being tapped, so there's a chance that some of these movies won't totally eat it.

I still don't know about that Avenger's movie. If they're not going to do The Ultimates, what's the point?

Wrong Avengers. That was based off of a British series that had a very James Bond feel to it.

I didn't watch it. After seeing Gataca (or whatever) And whatever batman movie she was in, I can't stand her. Paycheck was an exception. John Woo somehow took two actors I dislike and made a good movie.

Well I recall that the Ultimates (a cartoon movie) isn't going to the big screen. But the fact that they've made so many live action movies that I can't really seeing them put a cartoon on the big screen. Its the American metallity of cartoons really. Cartoon=kids. Live Action=adults. CGI=Every one, but mostly kids.
