Well you still see guild tags running around but most only have like 2 members lol. Like dmg-i has 5 active players out of like 150 members or something like that. Its really sad how much we all miss the game and how fast wed cmoe back if cu or pre cu came back. But thats life we will wait and see how these rumors turn out. Heres a review in the times i just got that most of us can prolly relate to.

good article
We really just needed to make the game a lot more accessible to a much broader player base," said Nancy MacIntyre, the game's senior director at LucasArts. "There was lots of reading, much too much, in the game. There was a lot of wandering around learning about different abilities.
riiiiight...reading really sucks

dumb ass bitch
It may, however, be a rocky path, because the revamped game is receiving mostly horrible reviews from players. On Gamespot.com, a leading game Web site, about half of the more than 600 players evaluating the game have rated it "abysmal." Some 14 percent have called it "terrible," and 6 percent have described it as merely "bad." The game is described as "perfect" by about 12 percent and "other" by 18 percent.
I'm shocked a whopping 12% gave it a "perfect"

yup

We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an opportunity to be a part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves.
They make it really hard.

Are they not trying to take it in a direction of not being kill, get treasure repeat? I think it was less "star warsy" before with groups of people killing millions of bols. I have had more fun on these little Legacy quests than I have had in a while, and I am earning xp to boot.

Wow.. I guess they do hate roleplayers! Everyone should "fit in" to one of nine pre-defined slots now. Thanks SOE, I feel more Star Warsy already!

They could have done the same thing in the old system dew. Didnt have to change the combat system to make questing cause leveling.

Sure but they must have decided there was more wrong with the game than just xp gains.

and that was their mistake. There wasn't anything inherently wrong in the combat system. They just needed a better, more fun levelling system and a way to ease newer players into the game (the grind was a big part of that).

I dunno, I can also see where they bit off more then they could handle with the number of professions they had....least in the balance sense.
