Colonel Haunter was cool too. He was more tolerant of "aliens" than Colonel Raggs. He studied us and knew our language, often translating for his counterpart.Oeree wrote:Yep. A few people PMed me, so I figured I'd post it here.
The requirements for the Inquisitorius are as follows:
1. No Jedi. Or, at the most, very few.
2. Being a LOYAL Imperial.
3. The ability to follow orders and not ask questions.
4. The ability, and willpower to uphold the Emperor's laws.
5. The ability to treat those that outrank you with respect. Call Nyvveck "Nyv", and you're not going to go far. The Inquisitor is to be called "Lord", or "Inquisitor". Those that outrank you are "Sir", or their title.
6. And finally, being able to live with the rigid chain of command that is being set up. Soldiers do not talk to me, but talk to commanders. The commanders then talk to me.
Of course, rules 3 through 6 apply only in RP situations. Out of character, you can do whatever you like (besides give the guild a bad name of course).

Hey Nyv(veck)!
It's nice to see that you are still in the game and now very active again
.
Of course, I am sorry about you no longer been a member of TTF=>PrCon
, but at least, I now have the possibility to shoot at an 'evil' imperial Inquisitor
. And you are now able to search for signs, that just another of these 'dirty' animals is a 'rotten' member of the rebel alliance.
Good luck with your new guild, we rebels need a strong empire.

I'll offer up Admiral Grieves. His loyalties to the Emperor may be in question though; but he's rigid about upkeeping The Empire.

How is the recruiting going, Nyvveck?
It might be time to think of creating the visual aspect of the Inquisition,
as it seems that the Universe gets slowly packed again
Would you like to use "standard" SW groups like Shock, Storm and Scout Troopers,
or even create something completly unique?
I started with the Idea of Naval Troopers (in order to explain the Piloting in combination with the groundcombat)
So far it is composed mostlly composite armor (dark white/ grey) with an TIE Helmet or an AT-AT Helmet, brandishing the E-11 gun (if i remember the name correctly) for standard patrols and the T-21 for "heavy Duty" Jobs.
I've been checking the armor so far and storm/ scout/ shock armor is way too expensive for me now (1 Million per Piece and those faction points)
Another type of armour would be intresting though i don't know if Color variations are available for it, the Katarn (clone trooper) armor which is Black with some red strikes would also suit for the naval trooper but again damn expensive.
Well, does the current naval Trooper fit or should i check for something else (at those directed who have been during the last week in the cantina's
besides, I need more Brothers and Sisters around

now the faction armor is geting expenceive....
though you can get the clone armor for free....(sort of) if you have rotw
but why have a strick dress code? usaly inquisitors have retunes...heck, even small armys, that have specal skills and usaly off ahead of the inquistor for recon and siege work......that can't be tracked back to the inquisitor if thay are captured
but thats only in the 40k books....
don't mind me

Hehe I'm stuck in the Warhammer 40K (Imperial Guard Collector here)world for over 10 years now, and the Inquisition there can be as ruthless as hell,
both using expertise in covert and in open confrontations.
Assasins and small troops of Inquisitorial Stomtroopers often go on recon or sabotage missions (whereby assasins are normally used for brutal assasinations not for recon). When for an Example an Inquisitor decides to visit a place revealing his presence he normally is accompanied with a Retinue consisting of "Magi", Veteran Troopers (e.g. Personal Bodyguard) and sages (consisting of Doctors for the Lord's personal Health and many more [also Interrogation Experts].
Besides his Retinue, an Inquisitor almost always has Armie to call upon (it can be an Inquisitorial force or standard Imperial formation) However , remember the things above are taken from the world of WH 40K and as such should not exclusivly should be used for the SWG Inquisition.
We should take scraps of it and add the SWG feel to it ourselves, for example the Imperial Faction. As far as my Understanding goes for SW, the Imperials are rigid about Protocols (including Uniforms). As for the Inquisition , no doubt there will be a "mixed" bunch of Henchmen, undoubtly though the rest of the Drafted in Members and Organisations (e.g. Shocktrooper and Naval Trooper) are still SW Imperial Forces and not the rag tag runners from WH40K
just some thoughts

I did a vendor galaxy search for faction armor and found nothing
WTH?
Can armorsmiths still make this? Are there parts that are hard to get or something or are there no more AS left? lol. It should be so hard or so expensive to get faction armor.

No parts needed to my understanding. We just have a very huge shortage in crafting right now. You also have to Bio-link and spend faction points for each piece of armor you equip. I think the Imp Recruiters still sell Stormie armor (Battle). Officers have to wear Shock Trooper (assault). And I forget what the Scout Trooper and other stuff is atm.Shensen wrote:I did a vendor galaxy search for faction armor and found nothingWTH?
