is the game back to a point where combat isnt absurd, and you can actually get some decent xp doing non-quest stuff?

You get ground XP for doing space missions. The payout on selling the loot, etc has made space very lucrative especially if you're still doing Master Pilot. sounds interesting... cept I spent tonight running with my family on DAOC and smashed everything in sight. Since the server merges on that game there is constant RVR(pvp) action no matter what level you are. So I will have to ponder on the idea (of coming back) while dabbling in WW2OL and DAOC.

Well... looks like I won't be doing much. My gas bill just came in for the month, and at $320+ even having turned the heat down durring my mission trip, that's a HUGE budget problem.
