Ok, just a question before I start the entire planning.

Do you guys want the races to be just on one planet? (If so, which and any player city in particular) or do you want it to be on many different planets (including some like yavin, etc if possible)

My vote would be to start out with something classic. Tatooine. Everyone can relate to that. And, it lets us use that Tusken Raider idea. Though we'd need to find the Tusken gear and some human males to play the parts. (I happen to know a quest in Wayfar that takes care of this problem) We'd want to consider getting repair kits or limiting entries to a certain type of speeder as well.

Maybe a twist on the Mos Espa Circuit? Map out that track; but change it a little. Using Mos Espa as a starting point?

The Race Coordinator would be grouped with the Racers at the starting line to give 'feedback' to the audiance at the starting line during the race. And some player 'scouts' along the race track could be sending progress reports as well. Make it a 2-3 lap race. Tons and tons we could do with this.

Yes, it was going to be limited to just normal swoops anyway. How many weeks should the league be? After that, I should be ready to post a nice ad for it.

Some things to think about while doing this. How many weeks/race cources do you think/want it to take?

I'd say start off small. A month of racing with one track planned each week. Get your sign ups first. Make sure your set to go on a time everyone can be on. This may result in Weekend races.

Coordinate the things already mentioned in this thread. Then launch it.

The race droid is perfect for this

I'd say if you go for a weekend... late afternoon... you'd be in a time window more able to catch most of the community here on.

Sat 3 pm EST sound like a good time you think?

Either day works for me...I need to know if more people agree on sunday

Saturday is best for me.. Sundays can be weird playin with Americans as i'm in England with school next day O.O

I can do it on sunday as long as it is before 11 (AT LATEST) GMT. Otherwise im got no chance on a sunday

11 pm GMT? I think it should definitly be over by then.
