The fact remains that we, paying ever higher health insurance premiums, are penalized for the stupidity of the turkeys who choose to listen to music at incredible decibels. You guys have any idea how much hearing aids cost?

I'm seeing people in their 30's wearing hearing aids. And they admit, ruefully, that they did it to themselves. I'm meeting others who obviously need aids, but won't admit it...instead, they keep asking you to repeat yourself. These are not elders, some are in their early 20's.

I'm not sure if you are, or are not supporting the guy sueing Xyryn.

It's my opinion that It is not anyone's responsibility to excersize good judgment but their own. We pay higher health insurance premiums from every act of poor judgment, not just because someone is playing their music to loud. The list is literary endless. We are paying higher insurance premiums because people do stupid things to themselves and somehow think it's not their fault.

Spell check is a beautiful thing! Kind of like when E-bo introduced me to actually using my Google instead of asking... where can I find this?

Well, I have seen worse grammar... not by much, though. We have all seen those posts that are 700 words long with no punctuation, no capitalization and horrid spelling. No one reads them past the first line.

Despite the fact that I usually protest the use of "ough" in English by not using it, I would rather not have to sound out poorly spelled words in order to understand what the writer is saying. It gets in the way of grasping what the poster may be thinking.

For those of you who aspire to authorship, please do use a spell checker. Also, be aware that English contains a lot of words that sound alike, but have very different meanings. And be aware that spell checkers will frequently put in those words where they don't belong because checkers are kinda stupid.

The use of "there" for "their" or for "they're" stops me cold every time. The flow of what I am reading is destroyed. For those of you who are trying to get a thought across, you lose your argument right at that point.

And Mayth, my friend, you do mispell about one word out of every two. Do you have any idea how that makes you look? You spell better ingame.
