Hey I live in TN that's not a yankee. Sure leave me out, of course, I am originally from Vermont so I suppose I should be left off...but still. :)

In all fairness, I am a first generation Yankee. Many of my people hail from around Dwi'lah's neck of the woods.

Keer wrote:Here's a little story 'bout the author of this post
Born & raised in Cleveland, OH and he loved his city most
Then one month on vacation with pay
He ran into some friends from his military days...

Next thing ya' know, "Sun, Fun, and Scandal"
January 1st, but wearing shorts and sandals?
He thought "south Florida has got it goin' on!"
So he loaded up some trucks and moved to Boca Raton.

Palm Beach County that is. Beach Volleyball (woo-hoo!) & hurricanes (boo!).

(Gotta be different  )
I vacation in Boca Raton every few years or so. I have family there. :D

I even know my way around to a certain degree. Boston's on the Beach, anyone? Er... is that Delray beach?.. *shrugs* Oh! And Two Georges!!! :) Yummy!

When did Boynton beach turn into a ghetto? Sheesh!

BTW Keer, you suck for living in a tropical climate. :|

Hey, I paid my dues. 20 years of lake effect snow in Cleveland. You Chicagoans can attest to that.

A military tour in North Dakota!? There's Wooly Mammoths still runnin' around up there.

That's the cool thing about Florida. Vacation is around the corner!

"If you like Pina Colada...." :D

yeah I don't like grits, or biscuts and gravy. Guess I'm just an old fashion yankee that likes his pancakes and vermont maple syrup. I like BBQ though :)

I'm also a Canadian, from Calgary, AB -- home of the Western Conference Champion Calgary Flames.

Lived here practically all my life. So yeah, two Canadians now, there's gotta be more of us on these boards.

Think it came down sometime in the late 80s. It was a waterslide out in the deep shaped like a J (go figure). Ya flew!
