Would you say know...how to change a voice to sound like it is inside a helmet like how boba fett and jango and so on and so fourth. Because I am a bit audio enept. For goodness skaes I am useing copyrighted music because I know not of any good music not copy righted that sounds as good as this dose. I realy like how this sounds but I would like to nerrate useing a voice filter that makes me sound like I am wareing a helmet.

just put on a helmet before you record your voice... ;)

actually if you have an ac97 audio or SoundBlaster Live or newer you should have some new stuff..

Well if you just don't happen to have an ubese helmet lying around...

Just wrap your microphone with a piece of cloth. Try different types of cloth until you get the right sound. Something thin like a bed sheet or a t-shirt might do the trick but I would also try stuff like silk and wool.

you could also try a cheap respirator at lowes or home depot. one that has a voicemitter on it would be best cause it will make your voice the most distorted. I would just throw on a protective mask but not everyone has access to those.

I would record it dry first and then do several post process filters on it. If you email me the file I can mess with it.

Well It will be some time before I get to voice. First I need to film this all. Then wright myself a script then record my voice. How to send you the file will be another task in itself.

I would come up with the script first...then you will know what to shoot and I would also shoot more footage than you think you need, because when it comes time to edit, you will be wishing you had more...

The script is already in my head. However the script for the nerration is different. I want the Movie made first and then build the nerration over the finished movie.
