Well I like a veriety of music from 80's and below I never cared much for all that newer stuff. But one of my favorite types of music is like the music from LOTR 1,2,3 and as well as the Duel of the Fates song in Episode 1. I also like the Hymn of the Fayth from FFX and a few songs from that game. But intialy it realy depends on what the mood I am in but mainly LOTR type music and ect.

Also, get Tool's cover of No Quarter by Led Zeppelin if you haven't already; another one you'll love.
I fell asleep at a Dream Theatre Concert in Philly. They seem quite talented yet they can't seem to hold my interest. And mind you this was in a large warehouse that the concert took place. People were asshole to belly button too. Glad I found a seat at the bar.

Wow, I find them amazingly interesting. Granted most of their songs are around 14 minute epics, I find the transitions amazing. For an example of said transitions, download A Change of Seasons by Dream Theatre and notice the different stages of the song: one for each season.

Oh I have heard it. I went to said concert b/c a friend loves them. I am just not into it. I found Ride the Lightning to be much more appealing at the time.

Whoaa! Make that a double over here, Zannon! If "The End" wasn't "trance before trance" nothing was.

I like Hendrix for his guitar playing ability, but not much else. As far as great guitar players that I enjoy: Peter Frampton, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Steve Vai, Pete Townshend, and Eddie van Halen. But I'm more of a bass guy myself.

Did you check out those Tool/Dream Theatre songs yet?

I'm into Rap, R&B, hip hop, jazz and classical even though my family is into all forms of rock (not a big fan). My little brother who's 17 started his own band New Solution they play what he calls scream, sounds heavy metal to me but what do I know. They're gona play with Alien Ant Farm in October and they play with Pennywise some time in December I think. Very proud of the little squirt.

I play "Hey Joe" at least twice a day. Can't get enough of that song. And that's saying something because I'm a "lyrics man" and those lyrics are pretty basic. 1:38 into that song when the guitar just jumps in...I zone each time.

Hendrix and Clapton seemed to me to be Blues guitarists more than anything. It's like Rock n' Roll just kinda adopted them both.

"Hey Joe" is definitely a Blues song more than anything. That's the song that got Hendrix off of sleeping in doorways at night. Overnight sensation in London they say. Weird wild stuff.

You got that right. Clapton especially; he was a true blues guitarist. You should check out his blues greatest hits album, a great buy.

For all you instrumentalist/techno/D&B kinda people, check out Rob Dougan if you haven't already. The guy is amazingly talented with mixing D&B with a full orchestra. And no, I'm not just referring to the everpopular Clubbed to Death track, check out his whole second album, its a two disc...or just download his songs. Either way.
