I think what Jerrel is saying is that he does not want to have to dig for it. He wants to be immersed in it. He wants to get dirty looks, he wants to wade through a sea of threatening scowls. He wants to smell stare into the hideous visage of people with the death sentence on 12 systems.
I keep going back to the thought that we almost need to step into seedier characters to make this work.
Let's face it, we all live in nicely decorated and orderly homes, in nice little cities. We get excited when he have a new paintings to hang and so on.
I am not sure what the answer is.

Make a joke and the purple wonder steps on ya. Ok, now for the real reply.
Jerrel does have a true point. Where is the nasty bastards? Well I can only speak for myself.
I have to be cool, calm, collected and deviant on the side. Think along the lines of a bond villian. We'll wine ya, dine ya, then blow up your speeder on the way home. We'll politely ask you to leave and then sick the starved gurks we have stored in the basement on you after.
So all I can do is stay in-character, the silent bastard. Others may be more open with the scumminess and I hope to see more of it. With the Casino I see the scum being more the patrons than the staff. We have to keep up appearances or the whole place goes to pot.

Yeah, I know where Jaminos is coming from though.. I mean I live in a pirate town but have yet to be the pirate bastard... I'm still in the process of creating my character's personality. However I expect the darker side to unleash itself before too long

Yes, I often get comments that Scum and Villany Night lacks scum and villany. If you have any ideas on how to rectify this, please state them.
I think this is solved my good roleplay. The problem is that we tend not to act overly scummy and villainous.

So I guess he missed the spice sales that were made without management's knowledge?

There were a few underhanded things going on all night at the casino...some I asked to happen, others happened naturally...you just have to look (I set up 3 things in particualar opening night and only told the people that were directly involved about them).

I dont count?
I would like to think that Novall is one of the biggest bastards in the galaxy. He'll work for any side of the war as long as credits are involved, he'll kill in public (which you've all seen him do) for literally nothing, and he has no problems killing or hurting anyone who gets in the way of his jobs....rebel, imperial, or nutral. He doesnt deal spice though...but he does use it now. He has 2 loves...his wife and credits, everyone else is either a paycheck, means to a paycheck, or walking dead. I've played his character a little soft lately...but with the advent of his new found force ability (that is an upcoming story), prepare for a meaner...deadlyer Novall....coming to a shuttleport near you.
I'm hoping one day he'll be the most feared hunter in the galaxy. Maybe him and Fett should have a little one on one. I'll be on Novall :P
Of course...

You'd have to be able to bring down the most bountied man in the galaxy Novall...instead of just TRYING to do it
;)
and PS: Can anyone help me witha site to host my sig?

I think Zannon touched on something that might work. He said he was stirring up trouble beding the scenes. I have done similar things at the Roba and S&V night. It is a great way to get the "shy" roleplayers involved. Give them a nudge, give them something to do.
In a casino there are some obvious hooks, a cheating ring.. some sort of smuggling and bribery. It would be interesting to see what people can get away with under the watchful eye of Seret and his security team. This could become a cat and mouse game of sorts.
I am starting to get some evil ideas. This is going to be fun. :P

Next time when the bounty sticks for you, he'll have reason to come back for you. When a bounty gets cancled, so does his reason to finish a job. :P

Yes I noticed you as well however it was Snarl. You must have scared the poor boy stiff, I just found it so funny I didn't have the heart to point out that he was a male as well.
