The minitaures are minitaures...

like 1 1/2" tall... they are used for turn-based RPG's....

Nice!

They even gave mention to the Duros. Slick.

And Dengar! Always thought Dengar was another under-exposed Bounty Hunter.

Also Lando Calrissian looks ill-matic.

OK...so, I'm a big SW nerd and I love miniatures, so I ordered these puppies by the case AND bought a few random boosters at the store. After opening what amounts to 3 cases of booster packs of these things, I'm still FIVE freaking minis short of a set. The cool thing is, I have a lot of really nice doubles...Chewbacca, R2, 3PO, Mara Jade, Lando, Dengar, etc.

If anyone else bought these and would like to do some trading, send me a PM...Seret gets first crack at trading since we went in together on the cases of minis.

If anyone wants a good deal on these, check out where we got ours...the pre-order prices are fantastic, but the normal prices are really good too.

My only other question is:

Ok, Seret, I'm gonna place the pre-order for wave 2...How many cases you want this time?

Can a brother get an R2 from ya?

That's all I want.

NERDS!

*once out of sight, quietly returns to setting up the perfect scene with the old original lead-based Star Wars miniatures from the closet*

I think it's cool these are already painted, though I wonder how durable they are being plastic and all. We still have all these old metal ones, half of which aren't painted. Played the old Star Wars miniature battles with friends before many many moons ago. :D

They seem pretty durable.

I have one question though.
What the hell do you do with the Jabba Minature? What is his movement -1? That fat ass slug couldn't do much in a fight except tell everyone else to kill people.

Build him a little platform with repulsorlifts! c'mon people. Think outside the miniature box. and plastic... * shrug * perhaps you won't have to worry about your weapons getting bent anymore by a careless player.

Yeah, these appear pretty Dooo-proof...unlike my tanks when we game WWII.

Now you are making me jealous. Oh well. Perhaps in a few years I will complete my collection of WWII Combat Rifles.

(note: that makes up for my inability to find any friends interested in such games.)

Hey...If you ever make it out to the Chicago area, you're more than welcome to swing by for a game. My basement is filled with enough WWII minis to play any Eastern Front battle from 1940-1945 and any Western Front Battle 1943-1945.

And he seriuosly means like, THE ENTIRE FRONT. More tanks than you can shake a tank-barrel shaped stick at. And the gory death figures. Ohhhhhh ho the gory death figures. My favorite.
