Cheers:
The abortion storyline and it's affect on the political football I thought was engaging and prescient. The show has started and continued a good tradition of timely topics relevent to our times.

So far I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, but am getting "a bad feeling about this". To me it feels hokey and a bit contrived that Apollo now gets Pegasus command. It seems too convenient that the entire command crew of Pegasus gets axed in one way or another and Apollo goes from Captain to Major to Commander (skipping Colonel in their ranks) in one episode. And Stinger, the former Pegasus CAG, being out of the picture for so long..."in hack"..../groan..../rolleyes.
I'm not saying that it's bad or implausible at all, but my quality sensor is getting bad vibes from this similar to what Jabe's mentioned. I'm not worried about the Earth storyline so much, but just worried.
I'm still pulling for the writers and the show in general though.
Battlestar Galactica
My only pet peeve with the recent past episodes is 3 almost in a row all using flashbacks that get closer and closer to the present. It was great in the resurrection ship episode. It was used again for Black Market and then again for Scar... I was just getting so tired of it, you know? I was relieved when Sacrifice's flashbacks were limited to looking way back at the reporter's husband's death only. Then this last episode Captain's Hand really showed off the different subplots and had big things happen all without flashbacks so we were happy.
