Cheers:
The abortion storyline and it's affect on the political football I thought was engaging and prescient. The show has started and continued a good tradition of timely topics relevent to our times.
Jeers:
So far I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, but am getting "a bad feeling about this". To me it feels hokey and a bit contrived that Apollo now gets Pegasus command. It seems too convenient that the entire command crew of Pegasus gets axed in one way or another and Apollo goes from Captain to Major to Commander (skipping Colonel in their ranks) in one episode. And Stinger, the former Pegasus CAG, being out of the picture for so long..."in hack"..../groan..../rolleyes.
I'm not saying that it's bad or implausible at all, but my quality sensor is getting bad vibes from this similar to what Jabe's mentioned. I'm not worried about the Earth storyline so much, but just worried.
I'm still pulling for the writers and the show in general though.
