my own story:
I purchased a 250 Gig HD at officemax yesterday, and the only two packages left had been opened. I even asked if they could check inventory for unopened ones (they love that). I get the thing ready to install and one of the pins on the master/slave thing is bent so it touches another pin.
So I fix that, put on the jumper and procede with the install.
Once I get the thing in, I have some fool's window installation on it, and it is partitioned to 126 Gigs I can't see the other partition either.
Im formatting it now, but I figure that wont fix the partition. Im going to end up returning it and demanding a new one.

That's cold, skor.
But also a very helpful tip for all of us, I think. Good thing we are too broke to afford 2 tvs. I guess we just have to keep it out in the living room!

Does he come out like a boneless wet noodle? Because he goes in like one, which is what makes it so hillarious (that and the fact that he didn't die, which would have ruined it).

The safety training commentary that goes with that recording claims that the man was on light duty the next day.
Walk it off, sailor!

Hoooo lordy
Many supermarkets in southern Foshan had reported a 50 percent increase in sales of adult diapers for the train trips, the China Daily said in what some local commentators called the "shame of the nation." It did not mention other cities.
Shame of the Nation, indeed.
