I am not doing this for credits. I am just saying from an Rp standered. Besides isnt this a credit free event as far as bounty hunters are conserned?))

Jaminos the individual who hired us BH to collect the slaves put a condition on us collecting. This condition is making sure the targets are sold into slavery.

Auction Combat Rules--When the liberators arive they may challege any one and those challeged must accept with out preparing for combat, such as geting with in melee range. This is considered an ambush the buyers are busy binding on slaves and the slavers are bussy with making sure the slaves behave themselves. However if the slavers choose to post a look out and spots the liberator comming before they can attack him or her that look out may warn the slavers then the slavers may prepare for combat placing themselves in "stratigec" postions.

No slave may be attacked if he or she is still in his or her cell. The slaves may only attack after the liberators make contact with the slavers and buyers, and only unarmed if they are outside their cell(unless a liberator gives him or her a weapon with an emote).

Liberators and slaves may choose to DB slavers and buyers. Buyers may choose to DB liberators and slaves. Slavers may only DB liberators (remember we only get paid for live slaves).

The Cells--The cells are lock with a certain harmonic that can only be opened by entering that harmonics frequency in ternamals next to the cells. The Frequency is between 1 and 50 and you may ask myself, Whar, Seret, or Ekade, in an OOC tell, your guess and we will tell you if you guessed it.

Walls--In the outpost walls are walls and if you do not see a way through that wall you cannot get through it. There may or may not be hidden passages in the Auction House and to find one you must search the suspect wall. To find a passage you may ask me, in an OOC spatial, your guess and I will tell you if you guessed it. There will be a limit of one guess per person. To ensure my honesty I will tell Ekade, Seret, and Whar the number.

Well, I had a feeling that Bh's cannot have buffs. My problem is that when some tx or swordsman or any Melee profession comes in. I will almost promis that I get Dizzy KD first couple hits. Not to mentions useing one special will drain my health more then someone who is fighting me.

I do not know it is just in this event. I think moves such as Dizzy and Kd should be discouraged. It kinda is a one sided fight otherwise.

I'd like to think any of the more "dubious" buyers would probably be prepared for anything when going to a shady event like this.

I know I'll be setting things up the moment I get there to cover my ass atleast to the door.

I'm trying to prepare myself for tonight... but, again, if I use Batak as my liberator, instead of Vreese, I'll be limited to RP dueling. Also not sure quite how well this whole liberator thing is going to go since it seems we've split up into seperate groups for this. If the effect is a bit of a gaggle tonight... bear with it everyone.

*note* Don't hesitate to use the suggested 'OOC stop' and 'OOC resume' in spatial tonight. Let's use this event to test some ideas for future events as well. I think we've got a good learning opportunity with this one. We most assuredly are buzzing with different perspectives on different angles this go around that I didn't see for previous events I 'brushed' into.

As for Buffs as I've said before at the beginning of this thread that NO one is to be buffed beyond food, drink and/or spice. As for KD and Dizzies, I'd like to hear what other people think of it's use before I make a desision. Consider it usable unless I post other wise.

Jedi2be, I'd rather we don't use OOC stop and OOC resume only because it REALLY pulls every one out of the scene. I'm an actor and I can tell you only the best trained actor can trully stay in character when the director holds up the action of the scene to deal with this technical problem or that issue with the blocking.

I am so tired of the KD argument. If you're a ranged combatant you had best be ready to make distance when you fight your melee enemies. Its no different than when I get owned because I couldn't catch a guy 60 meters away that got in 4-5 specials before I even got near him.

Personally I agree with Jabe on this. I too will be out for the count if some one can get close enough to me to go melee but hey I have at least a few shots to get off before they get to me.


Amendment to the combat rulles for tonight. If your character is planning on switching sides once combat is initiated make sure to make it absolutly clear. I've had a few people state they are only on this side or that to try to get closer to the slaves or sabatouge the liberators efforts. This is fine with me because it is very possible that a person would doubble cross those he teamed up with. If some one chooses to switch side please do not greive, he or she is simply playing his or her character to what he or she feels.

Hi, is this the event thread? Just making sure...

I'm afraid that I won't be able to make the event at the scheduled time tonight. I will be on but it will probably be closer to 11:00 PM CST. I really hate to miss it because I got Seret so involved in the event storyline. Hopefully this may go late and I will still be able to get involved.

If not best of luck to the event, I hope it goes well.

What if your on a totally different side from everyone else? Sort of like me being on my side and shooting/thumping anyone who blocks my way out. I have a big surprise once I get outside anyhow Thats if I even get to make it to the event itself!
