Time Travel

We should also remember the feature film Ice Pirates. When their vessel enters a region of space time is fastforwarded to the point where the captain, played by Robert Urich, has a family and a fight with the pursuing vessel lasts somewhere around 40 years. Whe they come out of this irregular space it was as if only fifteen minutes had passed. So they were able to see their future.

Amazing film. That little situation really only lasted fifteen minutes. I give the entire film two lekku up and a butt jiggle.
Definitely added!

Plus it had kung fu brobot!!!

That's my point about not living in the past Kirt. We cannot go back and undo things that we regret. We can go forward and do things to make them better.

If the cost of going back to yesterday and fixing what went wrong was giving up your sight, would you do it? If you answer to that question is yes, then maybe you should ask yourself "what am I willing to do to make things better tomorrow"?
I understand your point , but at the same time, If you knew you would lose your sight by doing this, would you do somthing to keep your sight, Time travel brings up too many questions, if you knew this would happen by doing this wouldnt you do somthing so you get what you want without anything happening. Also a question my step mother asked me, "If you knew who god has planned for you to marry, would you marry them?", At the time I said yes, but now that I think about it I would have to say no cause by knowing the future I would find somthing I didnt like about her and wouldnt marry her, but then if I married somone else and lived a long happy life, How do I know that person that I married was really the one for me...HEAD HURTS!!!!

This is why I like my version of time travel.

I want to see what really happened to the dinosaurs, investigate the Kennedy assassination in real time, see who built stonehenge, see how and when the great pyramids of Egypt were built, witness MLK's 'I have a dream' speech, see what early man looked like, witness (and prove or disprove) the miracles of Jesus, and then of course see what we're able to accomplish (or destroy) in the future. No alterations to anything in the past no matter how much I'd like to change things.

And yeah, I'd check some lottery numbers.

I can see dooo jumpingback to the dinosaur era, and then just like the Simpsons Halloween episode (where Homer messes with the toaster and keeps going back in time) he steps on one bug or just sneezes and totally screws everything up in the future :D :D :D

Another interesting site where a guy reviews a lot of time travel movies and some of the other aspects of time travel.
