Just out of curiousity, would you be willing to tell me that stats on the gun you used?

I used a DE-10 and I don't remember the min damage I think it's about 170 and the max was 415 and it had a 2.8 speed.

The thing about us all competing together is frankly pistols are the fastest weapon. So everyone else may just want to drop out now *Cough*Grendal*Cough*.

haha, that's debatable - for this competition i'm using a hand-made, heavily modified EE3 carbine that has a 1.6 speed on it - i'm a speed-capped carbineer - i fire my specials just as quick as a pistoleer

and of course, i could always switch to my 825 max damage carb, it's 3.7 speed but again, with a speed cap...

(however, please don't mistake my WWF-impersonation on the Sony forums as a true representation of my attitude, i only ever play for fun, and this is no different - i'll have as much fun if i win or lose, and would be happy, happy HAPPY to face off against you at any time for a friendly duel)

Well if I'm not a speed capped Pistoleer I'm very close. I have Master Pistoleer plus the BH pistol line, I just can't remember if I need the MBH to cap pistol speed or not.

I may switch to my Geo 2.5 speed Max 428. It will be interesting to face off against you to say the least. Unless of course you get eliminated before the finals

Considering Rifles probably don't stand a chance I'd wager it will be you an I in the finals hopefully, unless I have to eliminate you before then.

(No need to warn me about the impersonation, I understand all this stuff is in good fun, and I myself might be gloating a bit more then I should. If we don't meet in the tourney I'll definately hit you up to settle this privately.)

Novall I think you need to recruit this guy. I like him already. You'd have the fastest guns on Gorath.

Ah, I was unaware of that. I just thought he might be a perfect fit for MERCS. As he wasn't in the pistols category I didn't give him much attention at the time of the event.

Carbines are so slow after all.

ha, i told Novall a while back, just because i don't post here, doesn't mean i don't ever come here and read the threads - however, my sony-forum-trolling, plus our own LOST site doesn't leave me as much time as i'd like to post elsewhere

Now that, my friends, is how a mayor stays in office...in SWG and real life. Artful re-direction. It brought a tear to my eye just reading it.

I got a question about the grand championchip. Do we have to compeet with the weapon that we got placed in? I'd prefer to use my pistol with a speed of 1 opposed to a carbine.

You must use the weapon you placed with! Had you placed in the pistol division with your speed of 1, then you could have used it. Seems these guys must not have wanted you to use your pistol. LOL Just kidding, but you do have to use the weapons you placed with during the original event. And since it seems most of the winners want to have it during the week I'll see if I can work it out for then.

Excellent. The sooner I can change my sig to fastest gun on Gorath the better. Maybe I should just do it now. Would probably help the BH business pick up a bit.
