Don't get it, it's not the right one, anyway...
If you find one it's the regular GeForce 6800 128MB...
IT will have 12 pixel pipelines.
If it has 8 Don't buy it...
Most the time you can find that stuff in the descriptions...

Sorry these are coming so fast but I'm like walking out the door, I researched this one quickley...

It's the leadtek A400, it looks like it may even have enough cooling on it...
Hope this helps man..

That is the exact one I was eyeing at pricewatch. You can see the copper plates and stuff under the fan...and they cover the memory chips. Thanks duder, should help tremendously.

Is pricewatch a decent online vendor, or should I be wary of giving them my credit card info? Skor?

The one you mentioned first Lok'i is the 6800LE...Whatever the hell "LE" stands for...thats the one that has only 8 pipelines...the standard 6800 has 12...and newegg has one for 188 bucks.

Pricewatch just leads you to online stores. You're not buying from Pricewatch itself.
Never buy the LE version. It's like buying a vette and having them drop a 4-cylinder in there to save a few bucks.

I would go for a 256MB card if you can afford it...More and more games are coming out that are using a lot more texture memory.

Krush we were running the same cards, and mine crapped out at the CURB/ROTW switch...
maybe if I swap to this MX chip over here (other burned out comp) I can get back on the game (super evil glee grin!)
now I just need to hunt down the drivers...

I went ahead and ordered the 128 from Newegg...the 256 was just too expensive...and at 188 bucks, the 128 seems to be leading the pack. I ordered it yesterday and it already shipped...how about that for service?
What kind of MX card do you have in your other computer, Whar? The MX 4000 that I am running in replacement is a purty sizeable hit in performance from the Ti4200. I wasn't pinging too hard, but my frame rate was lower than usual.

Sweet dude lemme know how it all turns out!
I may just invest some more money into colling my current card, but I'm reading that the new 6xxx series is alot faster than the 5xxx :P
So I may upgrade... probably to the same one...

its another Nvidia I guess... a mad dog something or other, but if I pop it in and the game works better...
if it works Whar will make a triumphant return to the RP world!
If it doesn't I will be needing some stuff to shoot. (gun therapy)

make sure you go into the options on the launchpad and disable the vertex/pixel shader...if you don't you're still gonna have some problems. This MUST be disabled if you have an Nvidia card after RotW came out.

...well...only on the cards that have one. The older series cards don't have that problem...I know my Ti4200 ran ROTW like a charm. Till the heat sink fell off, of course.
