Actually Kadey I bet you would do alright, so much of its luck anyway that Team TEMPL might rock! If nothing else they are bound to have the hawtest
cheer squad/dance team in the league, hands (and hopefully pantz) down.

So that's a good question... How many of us have done the fantasy football thing before? Two years ago I was champion of my Yahoo! league, although last year I came in 4th in the Championship league my league championship entitled me to.

So since I am clueless about this I did something I rarely do and started to read the rules. What type of format is this? Please tell me the computer is picking the teams because I know I am a goner otherwise. I just can't see me getting the time to do research given that the only time I am on the net, and its shaky at best, is when I am at work.

Yeah, it's set to auto-draft players with the option to mess around with your picks if you are so inclined.

I played in 2 pay NFL.com leagues last season came in bottom half of one league and won the other. Got a spiffy NFL.com champion certificate out of it, whoohooo!.

I've played in the Yahoo leagues a few years running at my old job. I did fairly well as long as I paid attention.

My first fantasy football experience came last year in a pay league my church had running. I came in first during the regular season but lost in the Semifinals of the playoffs.

But yes the league is set so that it will draft based on the highest preranked player available. You can mess with the rankings but if you don't you should be fine. And the draft order will be random.

The format will be head to head, so basically your team needs to score more points (based on TD passes, Receiving TD's, Rushing Yrds, Receiving and Passing YRds, sacks, etc) then the team your playing against for the week, if you do you get a win, if not you lose.

At the end of the season the top 4 teams I believe will have a playoff to see who win's. I think that's pretty much it. We've got 7 teams now which is pretty decent I'd really like just 1 more (or 3) so that we don't have anyone not playing each week. Right now Doo gets a bye for week 1. That slippery fish.

Now that we have an even 8 teams I've changed the draft status to ready so your teams should be drafted in about 24 hours so keep an eye out. The draft order will be selected automatically 30 minutes before the draft.

Cool we just had the drafts for our NFL.com league yesterday. The 8th player is the friend of mine that I work with that formerly played SWG.

I went and checked the league and now we have 9 teams, found out my other co-worker also signed up to join us so we are back at an odd number.

No problem, someone will just have a bye each week. Not the end of the world. Now at least your team should at least win 1. =)

Oooh.. I still need to sigh up the Team Temple.

When is the due date for registering?

right about now =) I've changed our status to ready to draft which means it could draft any time now or by Saturday at the latest. But you can still join I believe until it actually drafts so you could probably still join as of right now.

I don't know if you all noticed or not but we now have 9 teams and there is this note above the team list that says:

"Your league will not be permitted to conduct its draft if it contains an odd number of managers."

And I don't know if that means anything or not but it may be an issue? Like I said never did this before. Need the info.
