Don't over exert yourself. I'd hate for you to fall down, not be able to get up, and have to use your First Alert bracelet.

I admit to being old and regret not being older, because I would have had more time to enjoy the old school a lot longer..
BTW, the BBS documentary DVD is almost done after a few years of filming by an independent guy. bbsdocumentary.com

Did the Apple IIe have the unattached keyboard? I remember having two types of computer in elemetary school (Apple IIe and IIgs, I think) and one was cool and one was not.

Nope, it was all in one. Well at least my Apple IIe was. Jabe helped me get it for around $10 from a school that was selling off old comps. We both spent hours on our Apple IIes doing basic programming. I even went through the effort of coding a turned-based X-men RPG with actuall graphics. My god the time that sucked up.
That was back when we had to use tape recorders to save our data. We even attempted our first modem by trying to send the data from the tape recorder over the phone.

Did you really have to admit to the part where we tried to xmit our programs over the phone by letting our tape players hiss in to the hand set? Now I am exposed for the big awkward geek I was!!! (And still am.)
Oh the pain.. Please don't beat me up!!
