Xenogears was pretty bad ass...I liked the story too...except that the main character was a cry baby in the flashbacks...that got annoying. But the battle system was neat and I really dug the Gears and the green guy that looked like Blanka. It was one of the only games I never finished...EVER. I never found my way through the maze at the end...

Xenosaga on the other hand was kind of lame. It is supposed to be like the first part of the Xeno_____(fill in the blank) saga. Tried really hard to like it, but finished it thinking, "That's it?"

I can't wait for KOTOR II to make it to the PC. That will be my first hiatus from SWG (aka Crack).

Sidenote: Has anyone played Farcry? IS it any good? Not in the RPG genre, but I don't feel it needs its own thread.
